Default Resume download with new link

Edit: I think I was supposed to post in this in the jdwonloader 2 forum, my mistake.

Hello, I apologize if this has been answered before but I cant find an answer from searching.

I downloaded a file from a site where the link expires after a while. The file was downloading for several hours then the link expired at 95%. It then said "file not found" next to it in jdownloader. Now I have a brand new link for the exact file but I don't want to start the whole dl over again. What's the best way to go about this?

Thanks

For some reason when right clicking a file's properties and changing the "download from" to the new download link it still says File not found. I know these files are resumable because if I totally stop the file dl and restart it when the link is not expired it will resume the dl. Also has that little green resumable icon next to it.

It's a feature request, not done yet. I don't get "download from" in file's properties.
Post #1 can be done, but not recommended.

Oh ok. Was not sure since there was a feature completed thing at that end of that thread. Either way I had to enable this manually by going into a files properties. Then going to the mini wrench in the top right of the properties panel next to the X. I guess replacing the DL path doesnt do anything as of now.

It's not possible at the moment.
Is the link from a hoster or what kind of link is it? Maybe we can add proper support for it so JDownloader does autorefresh it.

Hi, I just saw the "change url" option when right clicking a couple files. Then all of a sudden I went back and the option was missing from right click. Restarted jdownloader and its still gone. Anywhere to go to add it back?

Edit: Nevermind, was looking at non-ftp/direct links

Thanks for the feedback. At the moment it is only available on three plugins (ftp, direct http, video google).
