The "fetch new login" problem is still hampering all the downloads for Filesonic, all sizes, and with a premium account, or just free downloads. The files can be downloaded from a browser, but not from JDownloader.

I have tried to restart the program, I have deleted the account and then re-added it. I have also tried resetting the IP. It is still a problem.

Yup, I'm having the same problem as you. I don't have a problem using FreeRapid but the downloads take a really long time. However what I found strange is that using my office network doesn't give me a problem, but my home network does. I wonder if its a problem between ISPs, or a static vs dynamic IP address problem. Most of us home users are on a dynamic IP system I gather. I too get the same log message at home:

Please read the Hoster-Plugins rules and provide the requested information. There are several things that could cause problems and nobody is posting enough information to allow us to identify the real problem.

At the top of the Self Help Index, there is a section on Common Problems (with solutions).

If you are using a premium account, never change your IP more than once or twice a day. That means that you must disable Automatic Reconnection. I don't have enough information, but this is probably the problem people are having with Filesonic Premium.

Since Filesonic is resumable, JDownloader can get keep doing reconnections. The next two paragraphs tell you how to turn this offf.

In the toolbar, just to the right of the clipboard is an icon with a blue circular arrow. There is a check-box in the icon. Make sure the check-box is empty.

Make sure the option "Let reconnections interrupt resumable downloads" is off (the check-box is clear. In the current stable version, this setting is in Settings -> Downloads & Connections (third item from the bottom).
In a future version, this will change to Settings -> Modules -> Reconnection -> Advanced.

While you are on the Downloads and Connections page, set "Maximum simultaneous Downloads per host" to the number of premium downloads that fill your download bandwidth. See Optimizing your download Connections in the Self Help Index.

Generally, if you have a premium download, it should fill your download capacity. Once your premium downloads complete, you can download from multiple free hosts at a time.

Check to make sure that your firewall and antivirus software know that java.exe, javaw..exe, and jdownloader.exe are to be excluded.

There have been some temporary fixes that should fix the problem for FileSonic in the next plugins update. A more general fix is requested in this bug report.

I just wanted to chime in and let you know that I am having the same problem as others.

My Filesonic premium account has worked fine until the last day. Now it won't download with Jdownloader, I can however, log in to my Filesonic account and download without Jdownloader.

My other premium accounts seem to be working fine with Jdownloader. (Hotfile and Oron)

I removed my premium acct. info, then restarted the program and added it again, then restarted the program.

As of this update it JD says 'No Traffic Left' and 'Invalid Account'

if I log in at Filesonic directly where everything is fine.

I have tried removing and adding my account again in JD - still no good

ich habe ein kleines Problem.

Habe bei einem Reseller einen 30 Tage Filesonic Acc erworben und per Mail keine Zugangsdaten, sondern nur einen VIP (Premium) Key erhalten.

Nur kann ich diesen im jDownloader nicht nutzen, obwohl ich mir genau aus diesem Grund einen Acc gekauft habe.

Was kann ich nun tun, um aus meinem Kauf einen nutzen zu ziehen - in Verbindung mit dem jDownloader.

Hi. I am trying to download from Filesonic (I do NOT have premium) but I get an error that download is for premium only. The file is +400MB, any work-around this besides getting premium. I really dont want to get it for only one file (can't find this file but on filesonic). Any help would be appreciated.

I can log into the website at **External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.filesonic.com and my premium status is still active, but it will not log in via JD. Please help!

in der Nightly klappt das auch mit dem mit dem normalen Usernamen/Nick
müßte doch eigendlich auch in der Stable klappen wenn die Plugins die gleichen sind oder?^^

A work-around while this login issue is happening:
Simple change your Username to your registered email address. Works fine for me

you must use
email as login and your pw
i guess they are working on api to make both working but at the moment you need to use your email as username

in case it still does not work, pm me the login data and i will check it

sind nicht die gleichen plugins, die nightly nutzt noch das alte update
die stable mittlerweile die api und die kann aktuell nur email

JDownloader now uses the official filesonic API which has currently a bug with login with normal username.

as workaround use email!

Filesonic premium account is reported as invalid by JDownloader but valid using standard browser.

I use email as account login what i have done using my browser.

There is an API error on filesonic side. please remove any special chars from password and remove account and add again. i guess they are working on it.

You can try to find a mirror file on another host.

hi, i've always used premium hotfile, but then releasemix and releaselog started to post mainly to fileserve, then i dropped my premium hotfile and bought a premium fileserve account, i was using it on jdownloader without any problems, then yesterday jdownloader stopped recognizing my premium fileserve account, it started saying "invalid account", so i canceled future payments to fileserve and bought a premium filesonic account in the hope that i would be able to download all monday tv right away (i was eager to see some series), then i typed my premium filesonic account info on jdownloader and it recognized the account but it didn't download anything at all.
so the thing is i have both premium fileserve and filesonic, there are plenty of links to both out there although i always get the feeling that filesonic links are popping out faster than fileserve, i would like to keep just one, whichever one that works on jdownloader, at the moment although my premium fileserve account is tagged as invalid by jdownloader i've already seen it at work on jdownloder and it worked fine, filesonic is a buck cheaper per month than fileserve and it's recognized by jdownloader but i just can't download the files (it works on the browser (as fileserve does) but not on jdownloader).
so if you guys could help me out here, otherwise i would have to get back to hotfile, best download service i ever payed, it's just that hotfile links are getting so rare those days, both releaselog and releasemix not even post then anymore.

well, i have done some reading here, and i have made a small change both on fileserve and filesonic that seems to have solved the problem for now, i have changed the password to just alphanumeric characters, no special stuff, anyway for this month i'll have premium access to both fileserve and filesonic, and i'll stick to the better one, filesonic is a buck cheaper, and i have read something about filesonic having a "api" and fileserve not having this "api", is that a important factor to consider? for what i undertand from what i have read every time fileserve make a little change jdownlaoder needs sometime to catch up, but on filesonic since they have an "api" they can change all they want and jdownloader will still work, did i get it right?
the whole headache because of special characters on the passoword, i guess that was the problem, in case it really was would be nice to add on the premium account page on jdownloader a note "don't use special characters on password".

I had the same problem today as soon as I updated JDownloader.
Filesonic plugin stopped working correctly, the weird thing is that some links were still working flawlessly while others had the error out of date!
I then restored the filesonic.class (just copied the old version over the new one) and everything started working beautiful again. Of course now JD tells me there is 1 update available but I won't do it at this time....
