Default Minimum Hardware requirements on Linux-Server (with Webinterface)

Hi,

I want to run JDownloader on a very small Home Server (700mhz dual core, 128mb ram). So my question is, will JDownloader perform well on this setup. I don't wan't to use the GUI, the best would be maybe to use the WebInterface, but CommandLine will be fine as well.

Best Regards Robin

JD doesn't run well under those circumstances. It generally requires ~100MB ram to start up! And the gui is still a requirement for captchas etc, unless you hack up the source which some have done. google: xterm jdownloader, linux/unix based solution though....

Thank you for your answer. That's a pitty, that it won't run on my server. So maybe I should look for another DownloadManager, that runs on linux commandline, with maybe a WebInterface. Does anybody know one?
