[Solveed with next major update] JD2, lost all queued downloads, after restart
Hi,
After restarting JD2, I've lost all queued downloads. Copied it to a temporary folder after seeing this issue. Close JD2. I've replaced the latest 1Kb DownloadList.zip from cfg folder, with a previous one, of ~1MB. Still would not show up my downloads. Replaced it with the oldest DownloadList.zip, although same size, ~1MB. Still no success. The zip file is readable, I can open it with WinRAR, I can open each of those files with no extension. I can see my links there. What should I do? |

There are bugs in JD2.
This is what happened, the file for package 32 out of 86: was filled only with this: "jd.controlling.downloadcontroller.FilePackageStorable@8fd40f" Removing this file from the downloadlist.zip archive, solved the issue, but only partially, since I've lost the links from package 32. Can you please investigate? It's not normal to restart JD2 from its own menu, without any crash at all, and receive this issue. All of the 5 versions of downloadlist.zip had this problem with package 32 being filled only with the line mentioned above, so no full recovery was possible. |

GeneralSettings: Keep XOld Lists - was 5. But it doesn't matter. It could have been 100.
There is a problem with JD2, which caused that package to remain without links. And this has propagated through downloadlists. |

As I'm new to JD2, was the "next major update" already released?
If not when can we expect it? I know silly it's release date question but this problem is more than serious, loosing links in a program that is all about links is a killer bug. |

No, the update wasn't released yet.
At the moment there is not ETA for the next core update (major update). In the SVN versión, the update is available but there will be need to do test before to release the changes, that's why is not available that update/fix in JD2 (yet).
