Default JD2 cant read Downloads list from downloadList*.zip

Hello,

So my Windows has died, but i still got my JD2 installation folder, i copied back cfg folder as suggested in this forum, LinkGrabber list is fine but Downloaded list is empty.

I tried all downloadList*.zips/backups that i got but nothing works, all backups have some size and i can open them with 7zip but JD2 just wont read any..

Please help, thank you.

EDIT: Actually when i try to extract any downloadList.zip, there are header errors on some files :(

Is that list very big? Can you try to run JD from your old installation folder or backup?

I managed to fix it, maybe this will help someone:

I combined files from multiple downloadlist.zips so there is no single corrupted file (0kb).
Let JD2 make fresh empty downloadlist.zip.
Drag and drop all files from backup to downloadList.zip in cfg directory and let windows zip it (takes a while).
Run JD2 and let it decompress download list.

Note: i also found one corrupted file that wasnt 0kb, replaced with another from any other backup and it works!

Thank you

@pivor: Thanks for the feedback!
you can also drag/drop , add container those .zip files from your backup instead of rebuilding the zip on your own
