Default Connection lost time

Hello there,

I've got a question: how do I change the "Connection lost wait time" of JDownloader, that, by default, is set to 5 mins (300 secs)?

I searched, and the only thing I found was this image, but on the current version of JD, it doesn't appear in any tab.

Solutions? Thanks.

Ok. What's the best setting of chunks/max dls. for who, like me, has got of an internet connection of 10 mbit? Becouse I think that's the cause.

Cool

I would start with Mac.Con. = 2. If that doesn't work, use 1 connection per download.

Hi remi,

I have the same issue. If I lower my max con. I will get lesser speed, I see this happening in peak hours mostly.

Do you think its rapidshare that's limiting each connection @ peak or my ISP? Is there a way for me to find out? I've just upgraded to 12Mbit and I'm downloading at half of that. And I've tried switching mirrors, it doesn't help.

Thanks

how much connections/max downloads do you use?
what firewall/antivirus?

because you should be able to max out your 12mbit line with rs premium easily

Cool

Allow java.exe and javaw.exe in your firewall and virus software. Also disable html/web scanner in your virus software.

Same problem

"Connection Lost: Wait XX minutes..."

JD is able to connect to internet and download, its just that the connection goes in and out. Very frustrating.

Also reduce Max.Con. (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1 or 2.

means jd lost connection can be because of unstable connection or too many downloads/connections for your internetline

what speed do you have? how many connections/downloads?

connection Lost: Wait 4:59
but now it is wait 0:01 sec.. HOw.
..

1.use any older version < 0.5

2.set connection lost wait time= 2
3.copy the config folder

4.Paste config folder to curret(New) jDownloder version Folder...(backup first and then replace with old version config folder, bcz it will clean up ur running and pending all donwload list).
5. now Run New Jdownloer..

thanx..

[melancholy]That was indeed a very good version of jD, [/melancholy] but the plug-ins are no longer updated. I wonder which plug-ins still work.

I have the same issue. Please get this option back - currently getting connection lost and JD starts downloading the next files and nothing to see in the mean while.

Thanks for the kind support and great program. JD Changed our life for the better
