Though having the automatic, package extractor create a new directory partially solves this issue, it would be nice, to have the option of viewing a list of files and sub-directories which the extractor plugin has recently extracted from downloaded packages. Folders help, but sometimes, I just want to dump the new files into a download directory. The problem is, that I don't have a clue what the files are named, inside the .rar file I am downloading. If I don't have jdownloader automatically create a directory, it can be a challenge to find the newly downloaded files. With this added feature, I could click on a tab, and see what the most recently extracted files are.

I wouldn't expect too much from an add-on. An add-on is like an afterthought. It is adedd afterwards, because in the eyes of the architects it isn't viewed as an essential part of the software.
