Default Option to save files as a different name!

I think a great feature would be the ability to change the name of a file that we are adding. Let's say a file is going to download as "onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.avi" but I want it to download as "Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.avi" so that when I open my downloads folder I know what I'm looking at. "onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.avi" doesn't make sense to me but "Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.avi" does make sense. If I don't manually rename it when it's downloading, I wont be able to figure out which file is "Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.avi"!

So a way to rename files would be great!

It's just like when you download something using your browser. Unless you have it set to automatically download, when you click on a downloadable file it gives you the option of where to save it, and what name to save it as! That way, even while downloading, the file has a name that makes sense.

This would be a great feature, one that I hope would be easy to implement (so we see it soon )

It would be quite difficult to implement, because so many downloads result in more than one file. In addition, right now we have no ability to rename or move files after download

This would be a good addition to the existing Feature request (#1196) for the ability to move the results of a download, just as an unrar can move the results.

I am proposing that file renaming only applies to downloads that result in exactly one file (such as individual AVI files or a RAR that contains only one file). The new name has to be complete, including any extension.

Please take a look at the Feature request and provide feedback here.

If I am downloading 3 files

1. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.pr.avi
2. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.cer.avi
3. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.recp.avi

Then I could set, before downloading, the names as:

1. Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Pre-Reception.avi
2. Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Ceremony.avi
3. Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Reception.avi

And they would be saved as that while downloading, not renamed afterward (just like when I download a single file using Firefox, I can set the filename before downloading and Firefox will save it with the filename I give).

If I am downloading a set of rars:

1. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.pr.rar
2. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.pr.r01
3. onelinkfilehostdl_a+k.pr.r02

Then I could rename them as:
1. Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Pre-Reception.rar
2. Boogaloo.r01
3. GreenColors.r02

All downloads will result in exactly one file, because each file is one file!

And they would be saved as that while downloading, not renamed afterward (just like when I download a single file using Firefox, I can set the filename before downloading and Firefox will save it with the filename I give).

Of course J-downloader would not be able to extract this since the files arent named the same (Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Pre-Reception.rar, Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Pre-Reception.r01, and Aaron.and.Karens.Wedding.Pre-Reception.r02) but that's not the point.

I should be able to set the name of the file before downloading!

This is not a feature that moves the file from the downloads folder, this keeps the file in the downloads folder and simply changes the filename.

If I am not explaining this clearly please let me know and I will do my best to be clearer. Also, I apologize if my tone comes off harsh, I mean no-harm, I'm just doing the best to explain myself!
