Default Browser command line problems on Debian with Firefox-esr

Hey I'm using Debian with Firefox-esr and I'm trying to enter the command for Browser Command Line settings with this:

[ "open", "-n", "-a", "/usr/bin/firefox-esr", "--args", "--new-tab", "%s" ]

This is based on what others have said about this but nothing's happening. I've also tried just the directory with the wildcard, tried chromium but no change.

The "open" command is for MacOS only! Just use the same commandline you would use in shell!
see developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options
