JD crashes on mega.nz downloads
It looks like after the last update JD crashes on mga.nz downloads. Sometimes it works ok for a few files but especilly on smaller ones it seems to crash when downloading.
Anyone elese have these issues and is there a way to fix it? cu darek Last edited by darekk; 01.07.2019 at 20:45. |

There has been no changes at all and JDownloader updates don't cause crashes. If java crashes, then it creates a hs_err file in your JDownloader folder. Please either upload it here or send to support@jdownloader.org
Also check firewall/av as those might simply kill JDownloader because thinking there is something bad in mega download

Actually there are no hs_err files und jd\log. It looks like JD crashes on decrypting the mega.nz downloads, not on every one, usually the first one or two do work and then it happens. Resuming these DLs always result in "already complete" and it looks like the files are really ok then but very annoying issue anyway.
Is there any other thing that I could check besides the hs_err files and AV/FW? |

Java crashing is always a sign of
1.) killed by 3rd party application like firewall/av 2.) hardware issues 3.) driver issues Java/JDownloader doesn't crash to *now here, now gone*. Crashing during decryption can either be sign of hardware issues or firewall/av don't like what the extracted file looks like and then killing the process. Not having a hs_err file is a strong sign that Java is getting killed.
