Default Cookie Login Not Working

For some reason a jdowloader can't login to both instagram & tiktok using cookies. I've had it working before & know how to login but after deleting my accounts that logged out & trying to re-sign in all I get is "JDownloader checks if logins are correct" & a progress bar that goes forever.

I looked at previous posts about something similar & one of the guesses was an ip block, but for multiple sites not working, is it a JD issue?

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide

*Edit: JD is having the same issue with VSCO login
**Edit: It's actually all accounts having this issue, even ones with a password.
***Edit: It eventually says "No internet connection"

@zylaxabi: Please provide a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...d-session-logs
wait for issue, create a log and then send logID to support@jdownloader.org or post it here

JD isn't even letting me create a log:

I guess there's some connection issue? I already completely uninstalled JD & reinstalled it, & I'm still having this issue.

Are you on MacOS 15? If so, there are many reports/articles about networking issues with this version. Have you tried to disable Private Relay (if enabled)?

i don't think i have private relay enabled & this issue only came up when I got a new computer. I've had MacOS 15 on a previous computer but when trying to get JD on this new computer, it stopped working.

Is there any other ideas? Is there a previous version of JD that might work?

To me that sounds like a problem on your side like a network issue or something like a firewall/AV application that is blocking connections.

@zylaxabi: I was asking about MacOS 15 because there are many report about network issues you can find on the web/news sites and other reports of MacOS15 users. If you want we can take a look together via Teamviewer, just contact us via support@jdownloader.org

is there still a blanket issue with macOS 15 & JD? i remember there used to be a warning right? that isn't there anymore? so I thought it would be fine to update to 15 when i got this new computer. Or do you guys know that it can work & maybe i just have to tweak around with my macs settings?

@zylaxabi: it has nothing to do with JDownloader. just google for "MacOS 15 network issues". there was a java (not JDownloader) issue with MacOS 14 that has been resolved very fast by Apple.
Without having access to a computer that has this problem, we can't really provide any help. If you can get Teamviewer running, we can take a look at it together and maybe find a solution for it.
You may contact us via support@jdownloader.org

i should be okay, i think turning off my firewall lets JD work. So i'll just toggle it on & off until there's some sort of update. Thanks for the offer & the help.

You guys do a great job.

@zylaxabi: have you tried to remove/install the firewall again? what firewall are you using? maybe try to add JDownloader to white/exclude list?
