Search downloaded links (Searchable History)
I would like to suggest a search function to search through the links I have already downloaded.
I keep my download history to prevent downloading repeated files and sometimes it just gets way to cluttered.:outch: |

If you move all of your completed links to the end of the links list, you can use the Ctrl+F search to find what you are looking for.
1) Ctrl+End to move highlight to end of list 2) Ctrl+F to bring up the search box 3) Click on backward search 4) Perform the search. _______________________________________ A feature request is already in the BugTracker for a searchable history list (a separate DB with the information for the completed links) or a text file that lists the URI, size, date completed and Filename for each finished Link. Search for the word history to find more information. Last edited by drbits; 05.01.2011 at 05:54. |

@Redecoded
Note that if you keep all your complete links in jD, interactions with jD will gradually slow down and jD will take more and more memory. It's better to keep (copy) your links in a text file and search that file as a temporary solution. |
