Default Dateiende prioritisieren (zuerst herunterladen)

Manchmal ist am Ende der Videodatei der Index, die teilweise runtergeladene Datei lasst sich nur mit ihm abspielen. Da würde die Option "Letzte x Mb zuerst runterladen" helfen. Könnte auch per Datei gesetzt werden.

Warum?
Das würde ja implizieren, dass du niemals vorhattest, die Datei komplett herunterzuladen(?)

Das ist so speziell - da würde ich zunächst abwarten, ob andere User ebenso Interesse an diesem Feature hätten.

??? Wie kommst du aus meinem Text darauf? Nein, ich würde gern die Datei abspielen bevor sie vollständig runtergeladen ist.

Naja es gibt nur zwei Möglichkeiten, warum man sowas möchte.
Das was du möchtest und das was ich geschrieben habe.

Lassen sich solche Dateien auch nicht mit VLC abspielen?

Hast du mal eine Test-Datei?

Kannst bei dir suchen. Mach ne mp4 Datei auf und suche nach "moov" ohne Anführungszeichen, kleingeschrieben. Wenn es nicht gleich am Anfang ist, dann ist es am Ende. Wenn du dann moov und alles was danach kommt überschreibst, soll das Video nicht mehr abspielbar sein.

Ein direkter Link zwecks Testdatei wäre hilfreicher als Suchwörter für Suchdienste.
Das Problem wirkt wie aus einer anderen Zeit.

Sonst einfach die Internetanbindung auf Gigabit oder höher upgraden und das Problem ist vermutlich auch gelöst.

Heisst nicht gleich dass du die gigabit Geschwindigkeit vom Hoster bekommst, oder?

Bist du denn überhaupt von JD Team?

Ich hatte noch nie ein ernsthaftes Problem dann auch Gigabit von der Gegenseite zu erhalten. Außer die dortige Geschwindigkeit war tatsächlich nicht möglich. JDownloader hat dazu einige Optionen um den Download zu optimieren.

Nein bisher nicht. Wie kommst darauf und welche Rolle spielt das für deinen Wunsch?

Würde Dir allgemein einen lösungsorientierten Umgang empfehlen. Es könnte hilfreich sein auf gestellte Fragen wie Testlink zu einer Testdatei konkreter zu antworten und dann im besten Fall eine Lösung per JD Update zu erhalten.

Entweder hat der Download Resume und damit kann man immer mehrere Verbindungen einsetzen (ggf. über mehrere Verbindungen) oder einfach mehrere Downloads aufeinmal durchführen.

Schön und hast grad mal einen x http link?

Dann bist vielleicht besser im suchen als ich oder hast ein anderes Setup beim Videoplayer. Ich hab auch nach 2 Minuten keine Testdatei gefunden mit dem angegebenen Problem dabei. Und dazu hat pspzockerscene auch schon damals danach gefragt und er ist vom offiziellen JD Team weiterhin meines Wissens.

I've had to use google translate, so please forgive.
You can click and drag the .part video download into vlc whilst download and it should play assuming index information isn't required or is located at the beginning of the file. The downside to this is JDownloader insists on using .part for incomplete files, then then results with a duplicate (creates a copy) when its accessed by another program.

Durchaus je nach Anbieter aber kommt auf die nötigen Umgehungswege als Free User drauf an. Mit einer einzigen (IPv4) Verbindung als Beispiel wird das vermutlich nicht möglich sein.

Yes. And I propose to prioritize the end so it should play even if index is at the end, which is usually the case for mkv.

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht was du meinst. Ausnahme oder Regel spielt doch keine Rolle wenn man das gewünschte Ziel der Geschwindigkeit damit erreicht.

@ololoe: Lässt sich die Datei ohne Index gar nicht erst abspielen? Soweit ich weiß wird der Index nur für Seeken gebraucht? Oder gibt es noch andere Vorteile/Gründe?
VLC konnte bisher aus jedem Video noch was *zaubern* auch ohne das Ende der Datei oder hatte ich nur Glück.

Sobald ich endlich mal freie Luft/Zeit für das neue Download-System habe,
dann könnte JDownloader je nach Dateityp (auch dynamisch) bestimmte Teile/Regionen einer Datei Vorrang geben. Derzeit geht das nicht mit dem alten Downloadkern, da dieser nur rein doofe/stupide statische Chunk Aufteilung kennt.

Wichtig für dieses Features ist auf jeden Fall, dass der Dienst a.) Ranges(Resume) und b.) mehrere Verbindung erlaubt, ansonsten müsste im ersten Anlauf(evtl Captcha+Wartezeit) zunächst der Index/Ende geladen werden, nur um in einen weiteren Anlauf dann den Rest zu laden und evtl erneut Captcha/Wartezeit zu haben.

Also ich habe hier immer wieder Videos, die der VLC erst dann abspielen kann, wenn die Datei komplett geladen ist.

Mehrere verbindungen brauchst du nicht, hauptsache du kannst die Url mehrmals verwenden. Ja, ohne Range geht das natürlich nicht.
