Default novafile.com: plugin outdated?

Novafile. Captchas appear but though solved correctly ,will not start

Short answer:
Sometimes, wait time between updates may be longer.

I already read the FAQ before I posted the above and it doesn't really help me much specially if it's a silent plug in update. It's been a few days now and I still
get the same error. If this is a plug in silent update, I still have no idea if the update has been applied and there could be another reason coincidentally for a continued error. If it requires a core update that is not what the FAQ suggests for host plug ins.
What plugin version/number should I be looking for?

This is happening:
2.2. Okay but I waited several days or more and there are no updates, why??
We call this a "build block".
Why does this happen? Unreleased Core components are required within Plugins, and creates this 'build block'.
Core updates can at times take many days to weeks to be released publicly, due to development schedule and testing.
We do not provide ETA for Core updates to be released, you will need to wait!

Hi. Today when i launched JD, warned me that there was an update. I have updated it, but I still have the same problem in novafile, the files are downloaded with 7b.

Here is the log:

Does this novafile plugin, in particular, have not been fixed?

I tried to remove the failed links and re-add without success.

JD now, instead of downloading files with 7B, it displays the message: "try restarting the link (outdated plugin)"

@tony: did you try out in browser?
Looks like server issue. Log shows that normal download leads to 7 byte file

@djinet: did you try that file in browser?

Free download works, fixed by psp, tried 1 link from log that failed.
7 bytes maybe "Expired", that's why I added handling for that to get new dllink.

Hello, sorry for the delay in reply.

I have tested through the browser, logging with my premium account in novafile and, indeed, it is a shame, ask for captcha to download the files!.

Yes. After introducing the captcha, it allows me to download (but, as you can imagine, it is very annoying and intolerable), and I can check that loose Mb of my traffic remaining.

No response from novafile support right now.

I've closed our ticket for now as I cannot reproduce any of the previously reported issues.

The novafile support has contacted me and, surprisingly, they not understand what I was talking about, when I informed them that from few days ago, with the premium accounts, unjustly, novafile was asking for captchas. I've been asked for some screenshots I've sent them.

It is true that novafile now only asks for it the first time. Before, novafile asked for it with each download, but now, once the first captcha is solved, let it download successive linkns directly. I'm waiting for an answer from novafile support, But they are very slow to reply and my premium accounts are going to expire, which has caused me an economic loss, which I consider, novafile should compensate me.

Does JD at least handle that captcha correctly and only ask for it once (per session) - as via browser?

Just trying to figure out whether thjere is anything on our side which we can improve

Hi.

After sending the screenshots to the novafile support, at first moment have worked from browser without request captchas to download. Then, again, asked for captchas.

This is the answer I have been given:

"Dear Customer,
This is technical protection from using automatic scripts for mass downloading using hacked accounts.
May be some of your software (antivirus, firewall) made the website think you're a robot, or maybe that was a bug.
Please keep us updated."

They throw balls out.

JD starts to download first 5 files, without handle any captcha and either ask for it, but again showed "Try restarting the link: outdated plugin".

Hi.

New communication from novafile first time this morning, after my reply last night, explaining that I do not use antivirus, firewall, and that I have tried from different computers (with different ISPs), different browsers ...:

"Dear Customer,

Could you please describe how you download? Do you use any software to download? Or just use the browser downloader?
We've dropped the chance for robot check to 5%."

At this point I have tried through the browser with a few links and no longer requests captcha.

But as I'm not at home, i´m at work, until the night I will not be able to test if jDownloader could already start, manage the queue and finish the downloads without stopping, without errors and with all the files.

@pspzocker: maybe detect that situation and add a wait and retry later, maybe captcha will be gone later. or add some waiting

Hi.

I just got back from work and, after updating jDownloader, I have tried to download from novafile with my premium accounts.

Again, JD started downloading, only 2 files correctly, but then the third and successive displays the message: "try restarting the link: outdated plugin".

I checked again from the browser and still asking for captcha (I insist, only the first time).

I have brought it back to novafile, this time in desperation.

I wait for them to answer me, although I lose, everytime more, the faith in them.

Here is today's at this time log:

I've changed some setters, maybe it will help. I have disable concurrent use of premium accounts. I assume that have some simple script to detect if you're downloading from multiple accounts at once from single IP (vs multiple IPs, which is probably where there script fails!). So download should only use a single account, until account can no longer be used (traffic runs out or something).

Yes. Indeed, it is my case. I have several accounts associated with the same ip. The funny thing is that I have tried from the browser on different computers, and for both accounts requests captchas.

The last thing I can tell you is from my experience after the tests last night:

1) I logged into Browser, I was asking for a simple captcha "click on I'm not a robot".

2) I started jDownloader and then I could download a few files, until suddenly the message appeared: "try to restart the link: Plugin outdated".

3) Without closing jDownloader, I would go back to the browser (without closing session), try to download one of the files in which it gave error, and I would ask for captcha, this time, more complex: "type: click first I am not a robot and then click On all images of traffic signs, shop windows, or vehicles.

4) Return to jDownloader, restart the failed links, start the downloads and again I was in point 2.

I can not log them on, because I'm not at home. Although I imagine it will be similar to my previous message.

Thanks for the log. I've added special handling when captcha instead of download happens. It will make the hoster wait 5 mins and then retry. Maybe x downloads/y time cause them to show the captcha.

I apologize for not answering before. The email account with which I registered in this forum does not check or receive notifications. I use novafile server, every 3-4 months, when I have enough information to download, taking advantage the most of the quota established.

By the time I had the incidents, my account was about to expire, which is why I could not do tests later.

It was very strange, because I had 2 accounts with 2 monthly subscriptions active in the same period, to speed up. Maybe they control the ip and want to control that nobody abuse or can do spam, although I still do not understand. Nowadays there are enough means to avoid this, and as long as my payment becomes effective, I do not understand these limitations, annoyances with captchas, etc. By then, the service became unbearable and lousy. I hope to take now a pleasant surprise and that someone else has had the same difficulties as I, bringing it to Novafile, and they assuming that it is not a ethical, serious and competitive service to block or put these impediments to the discharges.

In a few days, I have accumulated hundreds of download links, so I will buy a monthly subscription again and I will report the result.

I wish very much not to have problems, as the days go by and I am losing GB of discharge, with the consequent economic loss. But, of course, it's not your fault.

I´m sorry, but novafile is asking for captchas again with premium account.

How awful! The nightmare comes back! Why it happens? Why do they do this? Does it only happen to me? I'm desperate. Pay for this? Disappointing service.

I have been able to observe that novafile asks for the captchas when the downloads are finished and there is a waiting time in between.

If the files are large, and allow that while one is still downloading, the next one starts, it does not request captcha.

I do not know if this will help you, or i am not able to ensure if this will be a rule and always be so.

I will pay attention on successive days.
