Of course.., a development version... Any chance to get an inofficial (pre-)release -> giving us a binary with that feature!?
Btw, is there an approximately release date for the recommended public version?

yeah, thank you!

Well, don't want to annoy you, but there was an update today, only a "date" not a "version" update (info), but jDownloader asked for it, and I agreed with anticipation...
So, just beeing patient and waiting for the next version update, correct?!

Sry, but I've to ask again, because of a "project" I'm planning: is there any chance to have that feature till tomorrow?
Or does it still exist and I'm just too stupid to find it?

Hello guys I'm using:

JDownloader -NIGHTLY- Build 16221
Java Version: 1.7.0_03

is this feature available ? I can't find it
It is really important because a lot of times I download files from mixcloud called something like:
3ef9-4501-463b-9fa7-59d08826d75e.mp3.
then I forget what's the name of the podcast

Thanks

Default File renaming

Hi! any news on this feature? I started to search for this because I was downloading several movies for example "the grey" but the file is named 34387530.avi since I´m downloading many at the same time, it would be great to instruct JD to save "34387530.avi" as "the grey.avi"

When I start to download the file I right click on the parent name and I can rename that line, but the file being downloaded is still 34387530.avi and that is what it´s saved to my drive

please keep us updated!

thanks!

OK, I've just finished to 2 downloads, and would like to disable the green speed graph, but can't find the option. Is this an Advanced Setting ?

Seems like the setting isn't available (yet).
That's why it's called "Pre-Beta"^^

The constant motion it what disturbs me, when I watch what happens, not the standing graph.
But ultimately, this a plain option which is really not urgent now.

Don't think its needed myself, you either look at it or you don't in my opinion. Though I'm not sure about planned changes (or not) on this GUI component.

Well it worked and was used in both previous versions (stable and nightly), maybe it would be advisable now too.

Hey, that sounds great.. wonna try it.. but:

"Konnte Update nicht installieren. Es scheint als würde JDownloader noch laufen.
Bitte beenden Sie die JDownloader Hauptanwendung"

My jDownloader ist definitly not running.
I extracted the files of Updater.zip into my jDownloader folder (C:\Programme\_Internet\JDownloader) and started Updater.jar...

Any idea what the problem is??

I had Version 6 Update 31, the newest official.
I realized then that there is a version 7 for testing out. So I deinstalled 6u31 and installted 7u3. But the result stayed the same.

So, back to main topic!

I enjoy the new rename function (thx!), also the new jDownloader, but I'm missing the flexibility to change settings even if the download files are not anymore in the Linkgrabber but at the Downloadlist !
Because it's only possible to rename the files at the Linkgrabber. When changing them at the Downloadlist they don't keep their new name.

Btw, it seems to be a problem of the new jDownloader Beta 2 in general: Also moving files or put them together into a package doesn't work anymore (as soon as they are at the Downloadlist)...

Oh, and one last thing: Is there a way to read out the original file name after changing?
This would be a nice feature, if it would be saved somewhere, when the file name got edited.

P.S. sry for multiple posting

I would like to add my desire for this. This is something that every other downloader can do, and would be extremely simple to add the code for.

However, I would rather see the option to change the filename prior to download, as is the option in every other downloader out there.
