Default GDrive linkgrabber not detecting certain links anymore

after recent update links with arguments aren't being detected anymore.

if you go here:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

there is video mp4. if you copy link to mp4 it will be something like this:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** ...

jdownloader 2 will not detect mp4 after pasting link into 'add new links'.

I searched "docs.google.com/videoplayback" in the source html, couldn't find it, maybe you use browser extension to get it.

i didn't post actualy mp4 link because it expires.

one way to find mp4 link is to open developer tools in chrome or firefox and go to network tab. you will see mp4 url there.

I mean, 'add new links' can only get the direct download links that are available in source html. If it needs further process, dedicated plugin is required.

sorry, i wasn't clear.

i am not trying to scan web page html for link.

i am trying to add the mp4 url to jdownloader. so i get mp4 link by looking at network activity tool, then add mp4 link to jdownloader but jdownloader does not add it as a download file.

before update this week i could add mp4 url to jdownloader and use jd to download file.

By clicking 'add new links', it means you want to scan web page html to get links.
Your example links are not mp4 links if we are talking the same term...

It's always been possible to directly add links to files. For example copy this file url:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Click 'add new links' and paste. Then the mp4 will be listed in link grabber tab.

Now go to

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Find the mp4 url using browser tools and paste into jd2. Nothing will show in link grabber tab. Last week it was working.

your second link in post 7 or first link in post 1, it doesn't end with .mp4. it contains -mp4 which isn't something we listen to with regular expressions and never have. You will need to deep analyse in order to get something like that to add to linkgrabber. And since that url is HTML not mp4 directly you will get other findings from deep analyse with your desired .mp4. The desired .mp4 (pron.tv/stream/) is actually HTML once again and not direct downloadable, so it will show up as OFFLINE. This is how its always worked!, findings have to be direct downloadable or supported by dedicated plugin (for those sites that require more steps to get download going) for JDownloader to download them.

So you are having issues based on confusion on how features work. If you add a single link (via the add links dialog) that's not supported via dedicated plugin, JD will auto deep analyse. If you add many links you need to manually select deep analyse.

@pivtxzuq
Now I think I understand.
The pron.tv is just the source link, the docs.google.com link inside (via network activity or browser extension then copy to clipboard) is the link that JD should catch even without clicking 'add new links' because JD has GoogleDrive (docs.google.com) plugin, latest revision 33511 is a month ago, not recent.

If you are willing to open the pron.tv link in browser, easier way is to click "more info/direct-link" below the video and copy the drive.google.com link, JD will catch that.

I think I'm having the same problem since I updated a few days ago, I used to be able to download processed video links from google drive by viewing the source of the shareable link page copying it and doing deep link analysis in jdownloader. Now they don't show up anymore

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

copying the source of that page and doing a deep link analysis should give me the original file and the processed 720p 480p 360p and 240p versions that play through the player but now it only gets me a link to the original file

It worked before I updated recently though. Also I looked on the settings page and I don't appear to have a google drive plugin

Our gdrive plugin has never been able to find all variants of video files.
This functionality has been requested a long time ago but not yet been implemented.

Plugin or not it worked before I updated, and I only updated because my computer crashed and apparently made my jdownloader nonfunctional

The problem is. It never has worked before for us nor did JDownloader actively support this. So there must have been a special case of links/how you added them that it worked for your.
Can you please provide some more example links, maybe I can find out what has happened

After the next CORE-update (well or at least sometime within this week), you can configure the GDrive plugin to prefer video stream downloads.
See Settings -> Plugins -> drive.google.com:
