Default Rapidshare "Plugin error (out of date)"

Just got this message and haven't been able to download from Rapidshare since. Downloading in browser works fine.

Yes I use a proxy (privoxy). Yes I can use https with it. (Would be a pretty shitty proxy if I couldn't!) I have been using it since I started using jdownloader. I disable it in jdownloader and it worker. Since my proxy hasn't changed and everything works in my browser, you must have changed proxy handling in jdownloader?

You can read the RS problem thread for an explanation about the problem and it's possible solution.

rapidshare premium does not work when using a proxy. rs now forces premium downloads to use ssl and jd contains a ssl proxy bug. we are working on a solution to this for next nightly but at the moment there is no solution but to disable proxy

I'm getting this error, and I am not using a proxy. It only affects rapidshare links. It occurs with every rapidshare link.

Here's some of my log file:

I'm using Ubuntu Linux. I have repeatedly unistalled and re-downloaded/installed new copies of jdownloader. I keep getting the same problem: the "plugin for rapidshare is out of date."

I see a number of threads here saying the problem is fixed.

How do I actually fix the problem for me in reality?

I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max. Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.
