Default LinkGrabber stuck

Hi,

Sometimes LinkGrabber stucks for a long time, sometimes there's a queue of 6 or 8 of them...

It would be great to look at the links being processed by the grabber or even pause the link processing and remove some links, because there's no indication of what's going on and it take really long (I just gave up and restarted jDownloader now, after waiting for ~10 minutes to finish the link processing but seemingly nothing happened).

Update
A few minutes later:

Thanks in advance,
M

Whenever you copy something to clipboard/clickandload/remotely... or add via dialog, a new linkcrawler is started and with it a new indicator icon. at the moment you can only abort a single/all linkcrawler via rightclick context menu on indicator icon. the indicator icon shows if it's source is clipboad/dialog/clickandload..different icons for each source

What type of links are you adding to JDownloader? what host? because this can also be caused by not enough memory for Java/JDownloader to work with and Java spending more time in memory management than in crawling links. Also in case there is a host currently blocking or plugins having to wait, then all other crawlers have to wait. all crawlers share the same thread pool (default 12) can be customized in Settings-Advanced Settings-
LinkCrawler.maxthreads

Pause would be possible but remove...I don't see a real use case for this because
1.) imagine adding many many links, then how would this look like? a list of 1000 items you select/remove entries. maybe those items are already processed while you're doing the selection
2.) you would have to go through all waiting linkcrawler and find the one(s) that are blocking/currently in process/taking longer.

I too have noticed this issue with some links. It can take the grabber awhile to read a link's online status.
Its happened with some generated multihoster links as well (RealDB and proleech.link) sometimes.

You can abort linkcheck (to stop further links being checked) but the current checking link has to wait to finish/timeout

My quick fix is to File->Restart JDownloader. I can right-click to abort all Linkgrabber tasks until the cows come home, but these tasks just sit there and continue to run.

You could try to create a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here.
Create log in such a situation and it might show hints what might be blocking/looping
