Filejoker (free), restarting and 7B
I've been noticing for the past few weeks that attempting to download a file from the Filejoker.net host has an issue if the download should stop for any reason.
Upon attempting to resume (restart, due to the lack of premium) the download, JD2 will set the file size to 7B and sit there "Starting" the download indefinitely. If you use the provided Reset option, it will very quickly "Complete" the download with only 7B downloaded, regardless of the original size, and move on happily as though nothing was wrong in the first place. The only way I've found thus far to ensure the download properly restarts is to copy the download link, paste it back into the LinkGrabber and start it again. Despite being identical, this "new" download picks up, prompts for Captcha, and then proceeds to download normally. |

Firstly, I apologise for the content that is in these links. The files I've been having issues with are private, and everything I can find to test with elsewhere appears to be pornographic in nature. At least you don't actually have to finish downloading it to test the issue, so there's that at least.

You shouldn't need to let too much of them run before you can interrupt the download and experience the problem first-hand. *Ed: Should have posted this earlier, given it's probably at least somewhat important. The contents of the 7B file that gets downloaded: "Expired" (without the quotation marks) Last edited by Thalyn; 22.09.2015 at 09:54. Reason: Extra detail |

@pspzocker: I suggest add links, wait some hours and then try to download
I guess the fetched link expired but still handled as okay.

Unfortunately I'm unable to provide a log. The instructions linked to are not applicable to JD2 and, quite possibly as a result of the updates during the time lapse, it appears to be correctly restarting Filejoker downloads after respecting a 3-hour time lapse, whether JD2 is restarted or not.
Should it occur again I have found what I believe to be the correct way to access logging in JD2, so hopefully I'll be able to provide what you need (if it's still applicable anyway after said updates). |

See here
http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...reate-a-jd-log When it happens again, try to create a log. Does it happen after x time or when you get into waiting time or when exactly?

OK, I think I've managed to cause it again.
27.09.15 14.18.27to27.09.15 20.43.38 jdlog://6014824739341/ At around 6:45pm local (10:45am GMT) there's a Filejoker download* which was stalled at the "Starting" loop. It had completed around 117MB previously before crashing out due to reasons unknown. It's possible the loop started before then, but that's when I noticed it (it's entirely possible it began up to 90 minutes prior, given the wait time presented). Fast forward to 8:42pm (12:42pm GMT), after the host would allow me to request a new download. I had "reset" the listing in JD2 and the 7B "Expired" file was again transmitted successfully. *Download URL: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |
