Default Jdownloader always exits, unusable

I have used various versions of Jdownloader and on my system all of them have had a problem of suddenly quitting/exiting while in use. I would be clicking through menus or adding links or anything, and all of a sudden the program just quits, vanishes like it's been shut down.

Previous versions have been somewhat usable, v0.6.193 would crash the least and was the most 'stable' though it also would unexpectedly quit. All versions since then quit so frequently that I am unable to do anything with them. I can't even go through the settings without it exiting.

With the program in c:\jdownloader, I've updated to the most recent version and have the same problem.

I see these logs named hs_err_pid(followed by some numbers).log in the program's folder this is my most recent:

Cool

I can't see anything suspicious in that log. We probably need a log produced by windows_createlog.bat.

Your jD is probably crashed by another program. Try to disable clipboard monitoring in the toolbar and see whether it happens again.

If it isn't solved, please run windows_createlog.bat and paste the log here. You'll find that batch file in your jD folder. (the output is log.txt in the same folder.)

hs_err files means, someting inside java crashed or some 3rd party app crashed java. its not jd fault. the problematic file is also given
# Problematic frame:
# C [awt.dll+0x40f1d]

i suggest to deinstall all java and reinstall the 1.6_update 15 (because you use the latest). please also see if you can update your graphic card drivers. and also try to disable direct3d in java (use boardsearch)

It has only been a few days, but I think the problem is gone. I think disabling direct3d was the answer. I used the script in post #8 of this thread, http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=1093.

Thank you all
