the premium not working was because of a bug in the jdlauncher i just discovered today.

I've re-installed NOD32 and now JD works flawlessly even without any modifications to the AV program.

So, now JD finally works as it should have from the start. I'll be happy to use it as I've heard many good recommendations about it. If I'll have future problems I'll post new threads about them and be happy to be a part of this community. Again, many many thanks for your truly devoted help Jiaz:biggrin:. It's not always that I encounter such level of devotion and, I might say, level of service, on an internet board/forum.

since theres always a %90 possibility that nod32 might crash java it is also recommended to disable the web access scanner which can be located in its advanced settings. Or you might try to give access to java and javaw executables, but in most cases this scanner still crashes java even though access is given. So your best option would be to turn it off...
