I'm here for the same "skipped - account is missing error". I noticed earlier in the thread it was supposedly because it was an age-restricted video and you needed to login (which, that feature is broken, so you can't)

...But I can confirm it's occurring on a regular public non-restricted video.

Caused by changes on yt site and false error handling in JDownloader (showing skipped -account is missing)

I got two updates to jdownloader2 today. One was waiting for me when I got up an hour or so ago, and then it just came up saying it had an update.

Neither one helped, but I am sure glad to see the team is hard at work quashing other bugs that are probably just as relevant.

As for my example... what I've gone and done is, I have a bunch of downloaded music videos. I noticed some were FLV, some were AVI, and some were MPG, and they are all low quality, and except the FLVs, they're all higher file size than they should be. So I thought, I can re-download those in mp4 and get better quality and possibly better file sizes. All of the videos are 10 years old or older if that matters. They are not new, but they play just fine on YouTube.

I have not tried other download solutions like alternative apps or downloading websites.

In Linkgrabber, I see multiple links in the folder. But in Downloads pane, I can only download TXT and JPG files from YouTube. Audio and video file formats display "Skipped--Account is Missing" error.
I have the latest version of JD.

Please help!

BTW: I can seem to grab some YouTube audio and video file URLs to grab everything.
Maybe it's newer YouTube links (within the last few months) that cause JD to display:

Availability = "?"

The following has the problem I noted:

I think yesterday there were two JD updates but they didn't fix the problem.

When grabbing the video some files (including the mp4) are tagged with a question mark.

When starting download "account missing" error occurs on these files.

Also while trying multiple times one single time is somehow worked. Probably Youtube delivered the old-style reply for once.

A followup on the above ... certain YouTube channels (all videos for them, including those from years back) seem to be problematic. E.g. BlueTunesRecords

And IONO Music also problematic:

But other channels/videos are no problem. Very strange!!

Hi, the YT problem might be a file size restriction. I noticed the video clips in 1080p over 1GB cant be downloaded and r skipped in JD.

After your updates (Hooray!) my downloads finally started again, BUT my combined DL speed with 2 downloads from YT is mere 10 KiB/s
