Premiumize.me doesn't preserve (sub)folder structure anymore
Since a few weeks downloads from Premiumize.me groups subfolders with the same name into a root download folder. All Subs from /foldername1/Subs, /foldername2/Subs etc is placed in /Subs (a problem, since they all have the standard naming structure (2_English.srt etc).
The same happens to all subfolders with the same name (/Videos, /Pics, /Sounds). Hi,
please go through this help article and make sure your settings are correct. We haven't changed the premiumize.me folder crawler since 2021-07-01 (last significant change was 2020-07-16). -psp-

Thanks, that seems to have solved it.
Somehow I had managed to click enable "Subfolder by package name" in the browser on two separate computers/instances of JDownloader. I might have been in a hurry to restore after a OS drive crash. |

I must admit our usability for this is not the best as there are multiple things you can do to "break" this.
This has however another technical background which is why I've created that support article. I'm glad it helped you! Next time I recommend not to wait a few weeks but just to contact us right away -psp-

How did you manage to fix this? Premiumizer warns in the settings area that using jDownloader will flatten the folder structure.

I'll let the support personel take this, it was a few versions ago in August 2021. It solved itself then, but I can't replicate it now.

Next update contains some more improvements regarding premiumize folder structure.-
E.g. no matter on which folder-level an added item is, the folder crawler will always find- and set the full path. Bitte auf das nächste CORE-Update warten! Please wait for the next CORE-Update! Hi there,
sorry to reopen an old post but for some reason I have this problem, have checked and verified the settings in the support article (both for the client and the myjdownloader webinterface) but still end up with a situation like below (mostly when downloading multiple episodes or a season pack. I am using the below (all dockerized and latest versions) Sonarr / Radarr Premiumizer jDownloader 2 (jlesage/jdownloader-2) Thank you for your assistance stivi |

@stivi: how do you add your links? have you disabled the default "adopt folder structure" packagizer rule? you have to disable the checkbox *overwrite packagaizer rules* so the rules are applied and the folder structure can be adopted

Hi Jiaz,
sorry about the very late reply, somehow the notifications were off and I was not at home for the past weeks as well. I am adding the links through premiumizer and it does have a warning that says directories will be flattened (as per the previous reply in this thread). Now I just realized that when adding a link manually, the checkbox is indeed active (overwrite packaziger rules) - however I checked in the actual settings on the web where it is deactivated (see attached screenshot). I am not sure now if there is a setting somewhere else I need to deactivate in that situation? Thank you, and sorry again about the delay. stivi |

Hi,
1. How does "Premiumizer" add those URLs? 2. Does it work as expected if you simply manually add a premiumize URL and of course also disable the "Overwrite packagizer rules" checkbox? To find a premiumize URL simply login into your premiumize account, go to "My Files" -> Open any folder and add the link to that to JD. Which advantages do you get by combining "Premiumizer" + JD? -psp-

1. How it technically works I am not 100% sure, all I do is add my login information for myJD and define the device name (see attachment).
2. When adding a link manually it places each sub individually in its own folder, I will try how sonarr is dealing with that now (see attachment when adding the files manually with option unchecked). Which advantages do you get by combining "Premiumizer" + JD? Automation mainly. I have been using JD for so long and it has been working excellent so far - this sub issue isn't really a dealbreaker at all, its more of a nuisance because some TV Shows then pack multiple sub files together and then jDownloader gets stuck which in turn somewhat breaks premiumizer automation by simply not moving ahead. |

To update, when downloading this manually Sonarr can actually import and deal with the files accordingly and, whats more important is that jDownloader doesn't get stuck with the sub files. Still have to dig into the Sonarr log files to see where the sub files end up but thats a secondary problem later on.

Your screenshot does not show the complete download location but my guess is that it is correct. It shouldn't only be "one subfolder per package" but the folder structure should be 100% the one from your premiumize cloud! Because JD does not have sub-packages this is the only way to do it (explained in our article regarding subfolder structure). Please check this! As long as it works when manually adding items, something must go wrong whenever "Premiumizer" sends those links to JD. Regarding the "stuck" items: Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier. -psp-

The reason jDownloader gets stuck when adding those type of packages is because the subtitles are all named the same for each episode and placed in subfolders (normally) e.g.: (also see attachment premiumize_folder-structure) Foldername: TV-ShowS01 Filenames: TV-ShowS01E01.mp4 TV-ShowS01E02.mp4 Subs (Folder) TV-ShowS01E01 (Subfolder) 2-English.srt 3-English.srt TV-ShowS01E02 (Subfolder) 2-English.srt 3-English.srt When adding the link through premiumizer it strips the folder structure and throws all files into the root folder without regard to the Episode folders: Foldername: TV-ShowS01 Filenames: TV-ShowS01E01.mp4 TV-ShowS01E02.mp4 2-English.srt 3-English.srt 2-English.srt 3-English.srt What happens is shown then in the attachment from the Linkcollector (both web and app) and the error message (also both from web and app) with the existing files therefore it get's stuck and never sends a complete message to premiumizer. Okay now I understand but the root of your problem is that somehow when sending links to JD via Premiumizer the Packagizer rules are not applied and thus the whole "keep cloud folder structure" handling doesn't work.
Now the question remains, why...

Most likely it's caused because of this
Quote:
right now this is neccessary because of the customized download folder which is only possible with this flag enabled. There is open issue for this I will check if I can find a nice/clean solution to this ticket. Once this issue is solved, then it will be possible to customize the download folder AND still apply packagizer rules (required for correct folder hierarchy)

Would be great if its possible to add links saving to different folders/subfolders under the same package name instead of packagizer rules

@neo387: I'm sorry but I don't understand. what do you mean? of course you can add add different links with same package but different folder. maybe you can explain your usecase/problem?

using the api below We have our own list containing file = url, destination folder with premium links so it has nothing to do with the premiumize.me plugin Adding links 1 by 1 with different destinationFolder and same packageName overwritePackagizerRules True: multiple packages overwritePackagizerRules False: 1 packages but ignores destinationFolder as you mentioned before AddLinksQuery myAddLinksQuery = { "assignJobID" = (boolean|null), "autoExtract" = (boolean|null), "autostart" = (boolean|null), "dataURLs" = (String[]), "deepDecrypt" = (boolean|null), "destinationFolder" = (String), "downloadPassword" = (String), "extractPassword" = (String), "links" = (String), "overwritePackagizerRules" = (boolean|null), "packageName" = (String), "priority" = (Priority), "sourceUrl" = (String) } Is there another way to achieve this with the api ? reason I want 1 package is to monitor the status of the download |

@neo387:
Sorry, it seems I did not understand your question correct. I thought you were talking about same package name but you did mean actual the same package. directories are assigned on package level. It's not possible to have one package with links for multiple directories. each package and its links have one assigned directory. so you have to add multiple packages (with same name) but with different directories.

@neo387: number of api requests is not a problem you can use "assignJobID" = true, and then mass query all links from that one job with single query. that way you can add many links, you'll get the jobID and then can query all of them at once again with help of the jobid
