Don't mind. wyxchari referred to a question in Spanish, while he should have referred to the solution in English.

Default Adding sound when CAPTCHA pops up

Would be nice to have the computer beep when the CAPTCHA pops up so you know when to get to the computer to type in what it calls for
So if you could add a sound option to jdownloader for the CAPTCHA it would really help

@happydownloader & Raymon

For captcha audio alerts there are several solutions :-

- "Captcha Sound Alert for JDownloader" : It contains several solutions for different platforms.

- For Windoze the easiest solution is "Captcha Alert : a simple tool solution.".

If this is a suggestion, then I would wait for the Event Manager.

Note that most events have nothing to do with captchas. You posted in the wrong thread.

If you want to sleep while jD is working hard to download your files I would read the first post of the captcha thread. Here you'll find some solutions for mutual captcha solving.

Hopefully this will be supported natively once again within coming versions, but for now you can use the mentioned solution in remi post.

Default Option to play a sound for anti-capcha prompt

I get bored with waiting for anti-capcha prompts so I walk away from my keyboard to do other stuff.

Then when I miss the prompt, I have to wait a whole bunch of minutes for another go at entering an anti-capcha code.

I would like our intelligent and inexplicably sexually magnetic developers to add an option to play a sound when an anti-capcha prompt pops up?

Default Sound notifications

Having some sound notifications would not be bad.

Most often I am on my study desk and not in front of my computer,
it would be useful to have notification for :

Download completion
Errors/server errors..
when we need to input captcha

and much more..

thanks
yosh.

I've good and bad news.

There was a possibility to set a sound theme in earlier versions of jD, but that feature was taken out because the devs thought it wasn't used.

Even without the sound theme it should have been possible with the Event Manager. Unfortunately that feature was also stripped from recent jD versions.

Here comes the good news. For captcha audio alerts there are several solutions :-

- "Captcha Sound Alert for JDownloader" : It contains several solutions for different platforms.

- For Windoze the easiest solution is "Captcha Alert : a simple tool solution.".

For other types of audio alerts, please wait and drink tea until

Default Sound or Web Alert when captcha input required !!!

Hi ,
can be interesting to add a sound alert or web alert , for instance to an android app, when a captcha code input is required.
:w00t: So if you are inattentive you can ear the alert and write the captcha input or if the alert is catch from your phone "app", a vibration or a sound is porduced and you can insert the captcha code.
thanks

Default Sound/bell notification for Captcha popups

Hi there,

Would love to see the option of captcha pop-ups triggering a sound/bell notification.

I.e. when it's time to enter captcha or when captcha pop-ups appear, it would be helpful if the pop-up was also accompanied with a sound to serve as an alert.

Usually when using JDownloader, I'm multi-tasking on multiple monitors and sometimes miss the captcha pop-up if I'm working on another monitor. Having a sound alert would be helpful.

Hopefully you can build this in at some point.

Thanks!

Question Captcha Ringer

Hi JD Team,

Since I am not able to figure out this Captcha business ... even after reading the notes, guides and what not ... I have just been typing them in as they pop-up ... a lot more work, but what the heck ...
So, I was thinking an "Add-On" application could fix my problem ...

WISH/Suggestion
Can you make an AddOn application that when a Captcha Pops Up on my Screen a RING will Sound ... kind of like an ALARM ... that way I will not miss the pop up while I am working on something else on my desktop ... since my JD runs on my laptop ... and I am not physically looking at that screen so I tend to miss the pop-up.

Thanks,

G!

Default Sound Alert for CAPTCHA

A sound alert for the CAPTCHA box appearing would be great as a lot of the websites, for me anyways, i have to manually input them, as well as if the computer isn't watched and it gets missed.

I'm also looking for this feature to be part of jdownloader. I always miss captcha because I'm not staring at my screen.

Default [REQ] Audio Feedback for Captcha Requests

First of all, congratulations for jDownloader for Mac, which is fantastic.

Yet nothing is perfect. Here is a request to improve jDownloader: Audio Feedback for Captcha Requests.

That way the user will not miss the request to fill the captcha, even when not in front of the Mac, or when working on other applications.

OBVIOUSLY, the best would be if jDownloader could enter the correct captcha automatically, but I guess that is real artificial intelligence and thus not yet possible. That would be really awesome, though!

Thanks!

This is OT.

I think most *nux scripting solutions should work on the Mac as well.
