JDownloader not "intercepting" my downloads like IDM or FDM?
I've installed the actual JDownloader program and I've also installed the MyJDownloader addon on Firefox. Not really sure if this is a bug or not so I didn't post this on Bug Reports. I've now connected the MyJDownloader and the program itself through logging in with my account.
Unfortunately, whenever I click a download link, I still either get offered to download it through Firefox or Free Download Manager (as I have that currently installed too. But even if I disable my Free Download Manager addon (that supposedly does the "intercepting" of my download links) it still only offers to continue the download natively in Firefox, not in JDownloader. Did I install this incorrectly? Can anybody tell me what's wrong? |

Hi,
I'm sorry but our browser extension never had this functionality. Core features of it at this moment are: - Control a JD instance via browser (well some of it) - Send links from your browser to JD - Handle browser captchas It is still planned to add the "intercepting downloads" feature but so far I don't see it happening. I recommend using other browser extensions to grab direct-URLs of websites (e.g. VideoDownloadHelper for streaming websites) so you can manually add them to JD or add them to JD via myjd. -psp-

@bertseiler: you may try the "Download with JDownloader" extension. It's 3rd party and as far as I remember, it does provide this feature. At the moment our extension does not support this *intercept downloads* feature yet but it is planed but no eta for it, sorry
