Default JD2 and mirror downloads?

I'm using Zevera to access many hosts at one time. I've set up JD2 with several second and third mirrors. So I've got one file set up with Uploaded, another with Rapidgator, etc. These are all the same file, so it's a matter of which host is active at the moment on Zevera to decide which host I download from.

So I just noticed that I have about 80% of a file completed on Uploaded and now Uploaded is non-functional for a few hours. So JD2 automatically goes to the mirror link which is on Rapidgator.

This would be very cool except that I just noticed that JD2 started the download completely from scratch when moving over to the mirror. Now I've got the Uploaded link done at 80% and the identical file loading from Rapidgator is now 2% done.

Shouldn't JD2 continue where the previous link left off? I mean, it got 80% of the file from Uploaded and now it could get the last 20% from Rapidgator. But instead it start all over again from zero.

(Yes, JD2 recognizes it as a mirror link. It says right on the list, "Mirror [host] is loading".)

Why start all over again on a mirror link? Am I missing something or is this a feature that hasn't been fully worked out yet?
