I don't really understand the first part of your post but what does this have to do with JD?

I have not had any issues downloading from Filesonic.com lately using jdownloader. I dont have any FSC accounts on jdownloader either. I was using another site to generate premium links for me and those had some speed issues so I think it was filesonic that was having issues not jdownloader in that case.

Is there a wider problem with Filesonic since they revamped their site?

I haven't been able to download anything from Filesonic via jdownloader since the 22nd, and if I try and download the file via web browser I keep getting an error message saying the site is unavailable.

I don't currently have an account with them, free or otherwise.

I've uploaded a log at this link: http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/66732

The error as far as I can see (don't know too much bout reading the logs have to admit) is this section included in the spoiler.

ayyy! thats the part i've been missing! i was digging through the plugin code for oven an hour, even found out it may have nothing to do with the plugin but the cache so i even tried to edit the file manually changing the url-regexp.... without success... i found the code that generates the cache, but didnt know how to run it... never heard about the scan parameter but it does work now after it refreshed the cache.
thx Jiaz!

I realize that my English is terrible.

These links are in "Collaborate" means that you can download unlimited free membership and several simultaneous without captcha, try in the browser.

Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
However, by introducing them to the JD unloading 1 to 1 does not distinguish it from those who are normal, because these could download 2 simultaneously.

Avermes expressed hope the best.

Multiple downloads for such links is not possible as the simultan downloads limit is hardcoded in the plugin and there is no way to make extra handling for such links but activating chunkload for such is possible.

Default Premium account problems Filesonic

I have a filesonic account which was working perfectly with jdownloader till the last updates of jdownloader. Now In premium settings it shows account as ok instead of premium user. When you refresh the account it shows premium user and starts downloading properly again. After some time it again shows account ok, and the files start downloading as for a free user 1 at a time,slow speed and waits. I have reinstalled jdownloader, i have closed it and restarted
aggain but all to no avail. Request if someone can help in this.

Thanks

Me to i have problems with the links of filesonic that DON'T CATCH it the jdownloader stable edition.

Does this mean that the filesonic plugin need update?
And if it does when do we wait for that update released?

Cool

@vanillaboi

Most problems with jD are caused by viruses and to a less degree by firewall software.

If you can download the files with your browser something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

@fatihbaz

I'm very glad that you've 'unlimited' bandwidth. Unlimited bandwidth means you would be able to download all the data accessible on the Internet in much less than one attosecond. Since an attosecond is one quadrillionth, or one millionth of one billionth of a second, that would be more than 500 Exabytes * 1000,000,000,000,000 per second. 1 Exabyte equals 1 million Terabytes. That would mean a bandwidth of more than 500,000,000,000 Yottabytes per second, because there isn't a unit for amounts larger than a Yottabyte yet. FYI, 1 Yottabyte equals 1 million Exabytes.

Needless to say that you would also be able to download a Googol bytes amount of data in less than one attosecond if this amount of data would ever exist. A Googol doesn't represent the criminal power of Gogol, but it's the digit 1 followed by 100 zeroes. You could also download a Centillion (a 1 followed by 303 zeroes) or even a Millinillion (a 1 followed by 3003 zeroes) bytes per second. And why not a Googolplex bytes per second?

You would be able to download at a faster rate than the rate at which the billions of galaxies in our local universe are producing particles.

You would be able to download at a rate faster than the number of quantum state changes per second in all black holes of our local universe which is a number that far exceeds the Googolplex. I must admit that this number far exceeds my imagination as well, but that's because I'm a simple customer.

I wonder how jD, your computer and your router are coping with this excellent bandwidth. Where do you buy your disks and do you get a good discount?

i know that,unlimited is not true but its mean;its not calculated i think this problem is about jdownloader.because if its wrong,idm or my browser cant download that files but idm downloaded them correctly.and finally i try 3 vps from usa,uk and netherlands.but both of them give this error too.

Having the same problems with Filesonic Premium account since the change on the 22nd. Prior to change there were no problems with settings set at Max.Con. 4 and Max.Dls. 4. Now I can only use Max.Con. 1, cannot resume downloads & connection speeds as low as 10 KB/s to 120 KB/s. Downloading from other sites is no problem with max connections or speed.

It seems your AV/FW blocks Java.

My account shows up as a working Premium account. As mentioned in OP I can download from others sites without problems - only Filesonic and only since the 22nd when they changed their site.

ava.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
this is 100% firewall/av issue
and as you are premium user, nothing changed for you in plugin

I solved my Filesonic problem (site would not even load for me) by removing the following line from my hosts file.
Quote:
78.140.176.186 filesonic.com **External links are only visible to Support Staff**
I had added the line above to my hosts file because of a previous problem I had with Filesonic, this may have been pointed out previously in this thread, just thought it may help someone.

Would you be able to edit your post so that everybody can see the link? Use h ttp instead of http. ;

Hello together,

got the same issue like the guy posted at #1980. When I try to download a link from filesonic, JD always says that the link is 100% offline, but I can get It with the browser?

Is there any solution for this problem by now? Read something about a bugfix, but didn't get if it was for this issue.

By the way, did I get this fix when I update JD or have I something to mention in advance?

Thank you

Similar symptom here . . . my Filesonic Premium account has always been able to handle the max of 6 concurrent downloads in the past, but now will hit an odd "wall" after downloading a variable amount of data and/or files: out of the blue, all downloads are reported as unavailable.

I have tried downgrading the concurrency and d/l bitrate, but it still hits a point in the queue where Filesonic (and only Filesonic) links get this unavailable error condition. If I stop the JDownloader session, Resume the unsuccessful Filesonic links and then start JDownloader again, it successfully finds those same links it had reported as having errors . . . until it once again hits a "wall" of sorts and essentially loses all Filesonic downloads for the given session.

This only began in the past week or so. In all cases, I was able to view and download sample Filesonic links in the browser that temporarily gave JDownloader problems. Thing is, it stops so frequently and haphazardly, I have a growing queue of Filesonic links that have yet to be executed.

EDIT: I disabled my firewall and antivirus, but still hit the same symptom. A few download links stopped with "plugin expired" messages, instead of "File Not Found". Maybe I should note that many of these links are from a Filesonic folder - that is, when you go to the URL from JDownloader, it takes you to the folder listing instead of a discrete entry for that specific file.

Remi, I have already done all that you said in post #2018 long before this problem started on the 22nd.

Regards

Jiaz, Is this supposed to read "Java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out." If so this is what I have tried, disable XP firewall and disabled all Avast anti-virus - shut down the computer (not restart), restarted and checked that both were shut disabled before trying another download. Below is another log

http://jdownloader.org/pastebin/67092

Please note the time it took to download this file. So with both firewall and anti-virus disabled do you have any idea what I should try next.

Regards

@xjohn_doex
Please post the troubled links so we can check (direct download still problem).

@ooofest
Try with max con = 1 and max dl = 2 then increase if it's OK until getting problem.

The symptom also showed up with max con=1 and max dl=2, about 3 minutes into downloading files for my latest test.

Folder is something new, maybe the plugin needs to be adjusted.
Have you posted example of folder links?

Default Download speed from filesonic varies?

I would like to know why this is happening to my downloads from filesonic. Yesterday, I tried downloading some files from filesonic and the speed was only about 500kb/sec. I decided to try another file also from file sonic and it reached 2mb/sec. Today, the speed is back to 500kb/sec again. I would like to mention that I have filesonic premium account and it is also verified and that my internet speed is 100mb/sec with fibre connection so this should not be happening?
Edit: I tried another file again and it's back to 2mb/sec. does different link uploaded by different user actually affects the speed?:o

Default Premium Account regonised but not downloading

After happily using Jdownloader for a few weeks it has suddenly stopped working. I have a premium account with filesonic and although the account is saved and recognised each download has the error 'Premium File. Buy Premium Account' next to it.

I tried deleting the account and re-entering it but get same error.

Any ideas?

Did you already perform the following actions? :-

1) Test your account in your browser and try to download with it. If your password contains special characters, please change it.

2) Enable the option "Enable Premium globally" in the Premium menu. Also enable the account.

3) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

4) Remove your account, restart jD, and add the account again.

Try the slow link with browser and report to Filesonic if you get the same slow speed.
