How do I delete logs
Hello, how do I safely delete logs without damaging the program and destroying my device?
My device is full because of it I had to delete the program and reinstall it Until the records are deleted Also what is this folder? updatehistory Should it be deleted or not? Surprised why something like Clear browsing data was not added in the program to delete junk Such as in the browser |

It'd be nice if it did some automatic housekeeping. updatehistory on my machine had over 12k logs left over, some since 2016. Likewise, the tmp\update directory. Wastes time in backups and other file scanning tools to have a lot of junk leftover.

I totally agree with this. What sort of setting would you like to have? keep last x days? delete older than? delete always?

@wkearney99
If you are used to starting JD manually, here is my quick hint to sort this out for your local installation: 1. Create a script that deletes the "logs" folder and then starts JD. 2. Now use that script ehenever you start JD.
