Default Can't exclude zip from extraction

Hi,

I try to exclude zip files from extraction, I used the option of "Don't unpack files matching the following conditions", tried *.zip, .zip and zip, none of them worked. It always extracts zip after downloading.

I checked the logs and found that "blacklistpatterns" : [ "*.zip" ], so I don't know why it doesn't work, am I doing it wrong or it is a bug?

Do you realise this feature only prevents extraction of files/extensions within existing extraction tasks right? As in you have zip/rar/7zip/tar archive which contains another zip(your exclusion rule here).

Sorry but I don't understand this point, this feature is not for the main archive? I mean I download zip file contains images, it will be extracted anyway?

Correct, as stated above. The point of the feature is to prevent file.extension within archive from been extracted. Not to exclude source archive from been extracted. The only solution I can see for the feature assuming you want extraction module enabled, would be create package customiser rule (based on file extension) and disable the extraction (checkbox).

Thank you for the explanation. Now it is clear. I have to try this package rule, it is new to me but will try to see how it works.

I would like to use this feature like original intended.
(prevent zip-archives inside a rar-archive from been extracted.)

what would be the correct regex for zip-filetype ?

zip ?

so value under adv. settings should be ["zip"] ?

doesn't work for me.

value is moved from "advanced settings" to "archive extractor"->"special settings..."->"don't unpack ..."

and is now working correct.
