Default JD2 keeps crashing in windows 10 | NERO is the cause

Hi Forums, JD2 keeps crashing in windows 10 and I have no idea why. This is in the latest build. I put jd2 to download links and after about 20 min or so it is unresponsive. I have to close it through task manager. What should I do. I use jd2 because zevera host is available natively in jd2.

Is JDownloader visible all the time or do you use any fancy features? (standby, fast user switching..)? Is CPU Usage high? Can you provide screenshot of About Dialog in JDownloader?

@xvertigo: your log shows that java crashed deep inside graphics stack. Have you updated any graphic driver or change on your monitor/desktop setup? Do you use NERO Burning ROM?

Thanks, i will try it. But i think the failure ocurred some times when i don't were working in the computer (i left it downloading and when i return it was crashed). But i can gurantee i don't was using Nero before. There is a version of Nero that don't produce this problem?

The report don't say if the crash corre just after closing Nero or can ocurr minutes later. I will tell you.

We only know that somehow nero is causing this crash. We do not know at what nero version this has started, we only know that it is the cause

OK, i am working for 4 hours so far without starting the Nero and the crash doesn't occur (it ocurred all the time yesterday). I will continue updating. It's time to use the Nero.

I am using Nero 2016, maybe that information is important for someone.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Would be good to know when exactly the crashes happen? When you open Nero? Close it? Minimize/XY? Maybe only a specific action crashes Nero, then we can investigate more and maybe find a workaround

That's a problem because there is no time pattern. If i don't use Nero then the crash doesn't ocurr. If i started it and use it but don't close it the crash doesn't ocurr. But when i close it the crash ocurr but not all the times and not always inmeadiately some times is just when i close Nero and some time happens when other applications starts or closes (like the screensaver or when winrar finishes extracting files) It appers that Nero create some kind of inestability and other action triggers it. I keep looking and timing the event and later post updates.

Meantime i installed Nero 7 (really old but functional) and works fine without any trouble.

Finally, sorry for my crappy english, it is not my language.

Thanks for the feedback and the information about Nero 7.
Also good to know that the crash does not always happen instant.

@xvertigo
thanks for your feedback, btw according to _https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nero_Burning_ROM they skipped version 13 and 14.

@Jiaz
Indeed.
