Default Red Stopmark doesn't appear

Noticed a few weeks ago that the red dot doesn't appear when the stopmark is set. The stopmark still works and stops the download however.

What are you talking about? It does!
Btw, this is no bugreport. Read the rules.

It's possible that your window or your Status column is too narrow. This happens to me as well. Just widen the column or the jD Window and you'll see the stop mark.

Default the missing red dot

Nope, have tried widening the status column and dot still doesn't appear. When I press the button to stop after current downloads, the white file icon moves about a millimeter to the left, but no red dot.

Java version = 11 (update 6)
JD version = 0.9.580
OS = Windows Vista
Anti-Virus = Avira AntiVir
Firewall = Windows Defender

your jd version is not up2date. your complete installation is broken. alot of missing images and so on
please close jd
1.) remove write protection of jd folder(s)
2.) rightclick properties on jd folder, security tab, give every user FULL ACCESS rights
3.) start jdupdate.jar (that will restore the missing files)
4.) if that does not help, some protection software on your computer stops jd from updating (some av tools have some kind of folder protection that can cause such things).

When I run jdupdate it tells me I might lose my queue, and doesn't recognize my previous backup, so I may wait till after my downloads are complete before trying this. Will let you know how it goes in that case.

Why don't you save your linklist as DLC?

Good idea, I wasn't aware of that feature.

Ok, I ran jdupdate as instructed by Jiaz, with 'Read only' attributes removed for Jdownloader folders and files, and all permissions allocated to 'Everyone', and even turned off my firewall and anti-virus software. But the update failed, the download bar stayed on 0% and nothing has changed. It spat out these lines and disappeared after 5 seconds. Here's another log.

@backovbeyond: just backup your config folder, then nothing can happen.
please try the following.
stop jd
move jdownloader folder to
c:\jdownloader
backup config folder yourself
then go into jdownloader folder where you find a folder with name jd
delete that folder
then start jdupdate.jar again

if that does not help, please visit our supportchannel and we will do a live teamviewer session.

your logfile still shows the missing images.
