Default How to set the number of pieces depending on different hosting?

How to set the number of pieces depending on different hosting?
Some servers require more pieces to increase the very low download speed, and some do not need it.
And why do more pieces (chunk) cause more frequent blockage and CAPCHA?

you can set it specifically yourself with package customiser rules.
chunking above a single connection doesn't happen in 99% of browsers. So maybe they use that against you.

but in another manager with 8 (section, chunk, pieces etc.), he does not block anything, but JD2 considers it an automated robot.

@djmakinera: please stop this again and again. Don't post anywhere totally unrelated to topic about the *bot detection/captcha* issue. Please stay in topic and there is a thread about this and I already told you I will try to look into this. Thanks

If downloadURL contains "test.com", then set chunks to x

You know that only new added links will be affected by rule changes. Existing links are not touched!

Links already exist on the list, do you say I have to add them again?

downloadURL contains: mega.nz (without http ://)?

Yes, Packagizer Rules are only applied while crawling/adding the links

To manually set the chunks:
  • Use search toolbar to filter pending download by hoster(s)
  • Select Links > Context menu > Properties > Max. Chunks per Download

Enable Downloadurl-> contains->freedisc.pl
Enable Chunks/Connections: 1

It still sets the default settings of 2-20, so it does not work for me!
Of course, I've added links again.

In menu editor, hit the + and search for the numbers, each chunk setting has individual entry
I know, very ugly but currently not easy to change

I did the most recent update that came out and don't see the change. Was this update different then a "core" update?

the update is already live. you should find the action in rightclick -> more
wait for next core update (requires restart) and then the default position will be at same place as in download list
