Currently there's an "Added Date" column (and "Modified Date" and "Finished Date") which displays dates in absolute format, e.g. "Mar 14, 2025 8:31:00 PM".
My suggestion is to:
Here is a screenshot comparison between the current "Added Date" column and uTorrent's "Added" column: ![]() ![]() Last edited by ambient; 16.03.2025 at 19:35. |

@ambient: What's the preferred gradation?
1.) minutes -> hours -> days -> weeks -> months -> years? or 2.) minutes -> hours -> days and hours -> weeks and days -> months and weeks -> years and months? 1.) you will see one month just x months ago 2.) more text but more information

I like the first one best (minutes -> hours -> days -> weeks -> months -> years). I'd prefer to keep it simple (like uTorrent) with minimal column width. When someone wants the absolute date, they may mouseover on the relative date.
And, btw, for sorting to work ok (because there can be cases where two relative dates happen to be the same, e.g. 'yesterday', but one is earlier than the other), so sorting should work based on the absolute dates (the tooltip values). |

@ambient: For easier development, I will just add an additional column, eg "Age" that shows this information. So you will be able to either disable added date and add new column or use both, as you like
