Question keep2share CAPTCHA

Hi,

I've noticed that I seem to be getting very hard captchas on keep2share in JD2, and I can't get them right, so you go round in a loop...

But in my web browser, same IP, I get normal reCAPTCHA ones which I can do.

Are they giving particularly difficult CAPTCHAs to jdownloader?

do you mean these new "inverted" black&white captchas? where there is no scanned text to identify, but two of this damned "inverted" words?

they come from other hosters (i.e. uploaded) also. I never got a single one right, not sure if I just can't decipher thme visually or this is a bug in JD2.

one strange thing: the first captcha is usually a "normal" one, all others are "inverted" ones. JD guys: if possible display only normal ones, the "inverted" ones suck big time :-(

Hi
We usually have no influence on the captchas as they're coming from the host and/or reCaptcha, solvemedia, keycaptcha and others.
Anyways, maybe they detect and "block" us.
Please post example links.

here are some URLs. usually, first there comes a "normal" captcha, then just inverted ones.

would be nice to
- figure out from where the captchas come
- if they are not recognized because of a bug in JDL
- if they can be avoided somehow

Why?
JD only displays the captchas it gets from the browser...

because none of my responses to inverted captchas is accepted.

if something can be done about it programmatically - good!
if not - bad luck :-(

No.
Contact the keep2share support about this, not us, because we cannot change anything, they can!

I agree this is obviously K2S at fault, but what do you think about the fact we never see them in our browsers? Ever ever ever.

I notice JD uses an IE user agent string... but I'm wondering if there's some other way they spot these requests and give them hard/impossible CAPTCHAs.

Yes this is possible but I don't think that's what they're doing...

I've got wireshark captures of good vs bad - if I break down the differences in the HTTP headers (and there obviously are plenty), would that help?

Not sure who works on the K2S host plugin - would they be willing to add a bit more browser impersonation to it? Is that allowed?

Hi
I work on it.
Also I know what's going wrong but I won't change it without account as I don't want to break it completely by accident

I'm having the same problem with all providers using reCAPTCHA. The captchas have black blobs with inverted color and are much harder to decipher than usual. They work on the provider website directly (they also work when registering on this forum) it is only through jdownloader that they fail.

Edit: Uninstalled and reinstalled 0.9.581, downloaded all updates and it is working now.

I have the same problem, I've noticed that:

- they appear sometimes, for a period of time, I think a few hours, in almost all hosts simultaneously

- they are very difficult to decipher, but I'm pretty sure that in most cases even if typed correctly they don't work, if not after several attempts

- they occur only with jdownloader, if during the period in which they are you try with browser you will get the normal ones

No solution?

Thats the problem with jd using fake and old user agents, google detects that as botting and sends the hard capatchas
