I've noticed when I add a gDrive folder, with subfolders and everything, jDownloader moves all subfolders to the root folder... please, take a look this is how is in gDrive and this is how jDownloader decrypts the link This is the link from the images **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Cheers =) Last edited by gatorade; 21.02.2018 at 19:40. Screenshot shows that all is okay!
Each folder has its own package but the download folder has correct subfolder structure.

Hey Jiaz...
now I got what is wrong..... please, follow the instructions 1- copy the link 2- click to abort the Link Grabber and clear everything it was already decrypted... leave everything empty 3- go to ""add new links"" > create a new folder and ask JD to save all files into this folder 4- click on Continue Notice all subfolders will be part of root folder and not sub of sub of subfolder ... take this another link to try it out... **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** now I understand why it was going wrong with me and ok with you =) Please, follow the steps and see if it working for you like this.... and please, try to use the link provided here for a better understanding =) cheers =) |

Reason is that the default Packagizer Rules for Packagename/Subfolder only worked for default Downloadpath and not customized ones (eg AddLinks Dialog)
Please wait for next core update, then it should work. Please check that you have disabled the *Overrite packagizer rules* checkbox in AddLinks Dialog

You must disable it so the Packagizer Rule that is handling the subfolder stuff gets applied

Please, follow the steps - copy the link - go to jD, abort the linkGrabber - click in "add new links" - create a new folder and set to download to this folder - uncheck the ""Information...."" checkbox - click Continue notice all packages are in the default jD folder instead the one you selected... right? Is this the right behavior when I uncheck that box? Cheers =) |

Please make sure JDownloader is up2date.
Works fine for me! Settings-Packagizer-Adopts folder Structure must be enabled

I'm sorry but it's more complicated than I first thought.
First you've got to disable the Predefined rules for *Create subfolder* and *Adopt folder structure* as they will match and modify the resulting download directory Then you've got to add a new rule that supports customized (non default) download folder and append the structure -sourceURL -> contains -> google -link origin -> is -> AddLinksAction (you can add others as well) then set -download directory -> <jd:append>/<jd:subfolderbyplugin> I've reverted my previous changes on default rules to avoid changing behaviour for all other user.

When you open the packagizer rule again, does it still show
<jd:append>/<jd:subfolderbyplugin> or does it show different value then? In case you still have issues with that, I suggest we do a teamviewer session and check this out together. Contact us via support@jdownloader.org You can reach us Mo-Fr from 9 to 17 o'clock, GMT+1, Germany.

Just send us an e-mail to support@jdownloader.org
It still works fine for me, so it must be something in your setup.

Well... i did many times what you did until works.... i need to restart jD to make this works properly... I don't know why, but this is how this worked for me then.... so, when I will download any gDrive link, i must enable this gDrive rule, disable the previous 2 rules, restart jD, add the link thru "Add new link" button and then, disable the rule again.... So far, so good... I don't understand why this happens neither how, but its working now... =) If you figured it out why this is happening and, the most important, how to fix it, it would be amazing =)... Its weird because, until you asked me to do all these things, i never touched in any jD settings but default download folder and added account infos o.0 Cheers =) |

Thanks for the feedback! No need to disable the gdrive rule. You can let it enabled and create another rule for all non google links to apply default rules as well (subfolder, folder structure). You can duplicate those rules and add contition downloadURL contains not google
I'm sorry but I'm not able to reproduce the issues with *enable/disable rules and restart required*. Maybe we could do a teamviewer session or you could do some screenshots(changing rules, addlinks dialog...) for each step and send them to support@jdownloader.org. There must be something that you do different than me

If I don't disable the gDrive rule, all packages goes to one folder only.... its weird because i never did any changes on jD but default download folder and added sites accounts... It will be a good idea, so if you can find anything wrong, can figure it out how to fix and then, help others =) Cheers =) |

Hi gatorade,
sorry for the late response! Your issue was caused by a bug in our GDrive plugin! It did NOT properly set the folder structure! I've successfully tested it with the URL in your post number 4. JD will find a total of 1128 URLs and put it in 89 packages. This is normal as in JD, all files inside a package have to have the same downloadpath so every path equals one new package. If you just throw all of these into the download tab it might look chaotic but JD will download everything into the exact same structure you see in that GDrive folder! We even had a ticket regarding this but it was not linked in this thread yet: -psp-
