And for me the option "Use album names in filename" doesn't work.
The album-name is not part of the saved file name.

Default Facebook does not decrypt

Made sure to double check everything.

Restarted JDownloader, Restarted browser. Did cold boot from both.

JDownloader 2 refuses to decrypt a Facebook URL (either default page, or the /photos subprofile URL).
Edit: I also have a facebook account in my JD2 account page (verified/active by JD2).

Please let me know what I should do to provide feedback. Thank you.

Here are sample links. Copied to clipboard (Ctrl+C/Ctrl+X), Grabber does nothing to recognize any media/picture links from the Facebook profile.

@xped123
please read the SVN ticket 0% progress. Even if the ticket was closed core updates have blocked plugin updates now for 3+ weeks!

You need to wait until ticket closes and core updates come out!

I'm still having issues with Facebook album URLs and JDownloader.

Whenever I try to copy:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

I get no response from Grabber. Nothing is adding to my pending download links, like it used to do in the past for scanning all possible images for that Facebook profile.

What gives? Should I provide logs?

Its clearly not fixed. I now see another topic created exactly about this issue still, today (05 May 2016)

@xped123
works fine here (1 package at 3923 images).

The only thing I can think of is:

- if facebook has different layouts/source code depending on where you live.
- maybe you don't have the latest updates. Then you wont have the latest plugin!

if you could provide logs it would be good starting point. https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs

Sure! My client is up to date. As soon as I saw the ticket progress you alerted me about, hit 100%, I updated. I updated and checked to make sure today.

What's weird now is it works! I think maybe the client needs an entire Cold Boot (didn't work when it restarted itself from the update).

I had JD2 open for 24 hours. I closed it a few hours ago to play videogames, then just booted it up now, and viola, it works!

Thanks for the support raztoki, I will report back if Facebook breaks JD2 again!

the update came after the core update, assuming you downloaded and installed core update(s), it would have been available. I fixed facebook issue after core updates came out.

thanks for the feedback

This bug has occurred again.

Copying Facebook links to JD2/clipboard does not yield LinkGrabber parsing the entire photos.

EDIT: Wait, is JD2 not allowing to download the entire Facebook profile anymore? Why is that, is it too much work/changing?

If so, do you have any other alternatives that you would support?

I've been using JDownloader for for a few years now and I'm sad if this is the case - this is mostly the one of the few reasons I use JDownloader, so I don't have to go through thousands and thousands of pages to download off facebook.

@xped: Only provide support got removed. Simply add the specific gallery that you want to grab/download

I'm sorry, maybe I'm a little slow this morning, I'm having trouble understanding this statement.

Galleries only now? i.e. ->
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

If I copy this profile URL, this WON'T be parsed entirely anymore? ->
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Thank you for all your support, Jiaz and JD2 crew!

Are all Facebook link decryption still broken?

Stuff I had loaded that I thought had "individual" links still don't parse correctly.

Sorry if I'm jumping the gun again, thanks for all the awesome JD2 work

log:

edit:
I also essentially loaded all links from copying the gallery URLs from this page:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Im hoping to grab all the pictures from this group before JD2 decides Facebook decryption is not worth the hassle :(

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with, whether it be logs or finding more examples or delving deeper in to something layman (as my Java and knowledge of JD2 is very limited on the technical side).

Edit: And of course, like always, thank you and awesome work with JD2

It's been about 3 months (or more?) since Facebook worked on JD2.

Has Facebook been changing things too rapidly for JD to keep maintaining the host/decrypyter?

Sorry for the wrong date.
We have tickets which are over 3 years old - this does not mean that they will never be done.

This is not the answer you want to hear but I'm honest.

Seriously we will not need a year to fix that Facebook plugin but it can still take time.
If I were you I'd use another software to download Facebook stuff until our pplugin gets fixed.

Thank you. Do you have any suggestions for said software? Most seems to almost malware or browser plugins; many shady ways.

That's why I support JD2 (and donated in the past) because of your transparency and help.

No but believe me, even as JD supporter, if I knew other tools for Facebook I'd have told you right now
