Default Passing Links to JD from an Extension

Dear Sir, Madam

I would like to send the links from our Chrome/Firefox extension to be downloaded by JD, directly from the extension and then I can recommend JD to our users.

There are other DL mangers that accept HTTP POST (like NDM) which requires no authentication and very easy to set up.

What does JD accept and in which format?

Thank you for your help
Regards
eros

Your users can use flashgot (flashgot/clicknload api) browser extension, or my.jdownloader (api.jdownloader new api) browser extension which allows porting into JDownloader. Otherwise you can implement your own for your site, though it would be overkill.

FlashGot was used before Firefox 57 but it is no longer compatible and the developer is not planning to start working on it until end of 2018.

I was hoping to be able to pass directly into the application without needing additional extension ie MyJDownloader which is not yet approved for Firefox 57+

Isnt there a method to pass links to JDownloader Application directly?

Some addons (like mentioned) use a HTPP listener, some use native Messaging.

We did not mean flashgot, but the flashgot api endpoint on JDownloader site.
MyJDownloader extension is provided here, https://my.jdownloader.org/apps/
You can use:
-ClickAndLoad API endpoint (links, password, packagename support)
-Flashgot API endpoint (links, password, packagename, downloadfolder... support)
-MyJDownloader API (user has to enter MyJDownloader logins into your application)
-Copy URL to Clipboard and JDownloader clipboard monitor will fetch it (only links)

I suggest you contact us via support@jdownloader.org and tell us what you want to achieve? Just add urls or urls+metadata and so on.
