ddownload.com - Maximum number of chunks always 1
Hello,
I'm encountering the issue that the maximum number of chunks per download on ddownload.com is always 1 - independent of the global setting. JDownloader Core #43459. Java SE 1.8.0_40 Example links: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Logs: 11.12.20 19.30.17 <--> 11.12.20 19.47.40 jdlog://0732525302851/ |

Plugin is hardcoded to max connections = 1 cause more caused issues in the past.
You should instead use more concurrent downloads. If you want we can test current situation and update plugin settings

I've re-checked it.
Current limits inside our plugin are still correct: Free: Max. Downloads: 1 Max. Chunks: 1 Resumable: Yes Premium: Max. Downloads: 10 Max. Chunks: 1 Resumable: Yes --> Max. 10 Connections per user/account -psp-

Hi,
thanks for the detailed response. Do I understand it correctly that the restriction of 1 chunk and 10 downloads per premium user is imposed by DDownload.com? As it stands right now, I cannot fully utilize my full downstream even while utilizing all 10 parallel downloads. But if that's a restriction by DDownload.com, then I understand that JDownloader can not do anything about it. A quick confirmation would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Yes I've actually contacted their support about this and the limit is 10.
Sure we could e.g. allow you to download single files with multiple chunks e.g. 2 downloads with 5 connections each but that won't change the global limit and won't solve your speed issue. As long as you're sure that your low speed is not caused by wrong JD connection settings, you can contact the ddownload Support and ask them if they are having server/speed issues on their side at this moment. -psp-
