FileTypes - "Others" keeps getting re-enabled after an update
I unchecked/disabled FileTypes - "Others" in Linkgrabber
since Linkgrabber showing a lot of links ie "Unknown" which I don't want it to clutter the linkgrabber but I noticed after each update the FileTypes - "Others" would get re-enabled. Please fix this or how to stop this? Last edited by madmax2; 25.04.2021 at 05:19. |

provide the links, some are marked as online some are not. I assume from the screen shot that the plugin needs work. Broken plugins need to be addressed over works arounds which you're leaning towards.

But the other issue is JD is for some unknown reason is re-enabling the OTHER filetype in Linkgrabber whenever there is an update.. which I have to keep on Disabled/Unchecked. I don't want to see the Filetype : OTHER This is also an issue for people who don't want to see the other filetype. @madmax2: your uploader.link example links are all offline, so no filename/filetype/extension is available

I'm sorry but I'm unable to reproduce the issue and first time (that I know of/remember) someone reports this issue.
Does this happen ONLY for "Others" filter for you?

Also don't forget to clear/removed unwanted items from list from time to time to avoid unnecessary ressource usage

JDownloader is not catching these as offline files but instead is just showing a question mark or a check mark in availabilty Seems to be a problem with these hoster plugins Some more links **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

The problem with these links is they are not being detected as offline but instead shows a question mark or online mark and is being grabbed into individual packages by those name as well. so the button Delete Links : offline does not remove these links/packages So my only other option is to uncheck OTHERS filter so it does not keep showing these links and will remove them all once in a while...by right clicking on the others filter > delete selected links. |

@madmax2: all your example links are correct marked as offline
question mark means that the file availability status is unknown. this can happen when a.) disabled linkcheck -> Settings->Advanced Settings->LinkCollector.dolinkcheck b.) temp server/plugin issues c.) link is currently re-checking availability status (eg via rightclick context menu)

realistically could be many causes but a couple other possibilities
antiddos providers could cause this as long connection/disconnection times polling end server. or dropping socket connections either at antiddos provider or end server both would cause long queue of events which prevent status from updating to a final outcome
