I have the same issue. Error - Too many requests. And 0/1 online with any YT Video.

Forgive me if just adding this id is not enough. Does Jdownloader upload logs to some place? or do I have to extract them from the Appdata folder?

@Zimond: "Too many Requests" wait some time, you've hit crawling limit. Wait or try a new/fresh IP(reconnect). Logs are uploaded and stored encrypted on our server and auto deleted.
Your log does not contain any error/activitiy. You have to enable debug mode before and create log in same session. But no log required as your error is already explained

Just a little note here. I am using VPN sometimes. But I checked this with VPN connected and without VPN connection active. Same result.

I've already updated JD few times, but still only 100 links are being grabbed by the link grabber ;/ This happens on my laptop only. This isn't an issue on my PC, weird. On PC I am using JD on Linux - and it's working, so more than 100 links are being grabbed.

But on my Windows (laptop) it grabs only max 100 links...

Is this already fixed ? ; / Or... hmm... alright, I tried to make a JDLOG, but this happens after "making a log" (the app is still working, just a window appears), with info inside:

So this is my first post, if for any reason I am in the wrong thread please be so kind and direct this subject to correct position.

For sure I am using Jdownloader otherwise I wouldn´t write in here. My problem is that once I copy a link (YT) into Jdownloader I will be asked "The Youtube link contains a video and a playlist. What do you want do download?" Options are "only video" or "complete playlist".
As I want the complete playlist, I push the corresponding button however without any effect. Even waiting for ages, only a single video shows up. The complete playlist is missing. This happens not only once but every single try.
Is there anything I have to change in the settings in order to get things running?

On my PC, just a moment ago, same thing with "100" links.
Seems like only 100 links can be grabbed.
I am using now VPN, but... this did not happen through vpn at all.
Now it happens also on my PC (earlier on my laptop).

On my laptop I tried to get links without VPN as well, no effect. Only 100 links.

Example channel I used to grab links:

Wow, that is really weird... On my Windows installation there is a firewall, indeed, but it's on a learning level so every request out of my comptuer is being registered and confirmed by me. So that is really weird. Maybe the firewall thinks that the url You provided, for JD updates, is harmful... hmmm....

Anyway, new log from my PC (linux):

The above is for the issue with only 100 links being grabbed.
I don't know why this happens... does anybody has this problem ?

Morover, sometimes updated are available and I see these updates and of course Im updating my JD installation, so it's current.

Is there possibility that some channels block more than 100 links to be downloaded ?

I don't know if it's a sorce of a problem but... I tested this and it works.

Look:

1st link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

2nd link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

These are two links of the same one channel.
If I choose the first one, all links are being grabbed.
If I choose the second link, only first 100 links I am getting.

Can You confirm this ? Can U check this ?
It depends where I am searching the links on Youtube, but these links were copied from YT.

thanks for your fast replay.

How do I differentiate between a "playlist" and a "mix list"? I did the same in the past, o.k. this might be some time ago, however it worked then just by copying the link shown in the browser.

A mix visually looks a bit different and it contains an infinite number of items.
A mix also doesn't have an author as it is auto-generated by youtube.

Just as example I will copy a link out of YT underneath. Accodording to what you said this seems to be a "Mix".

As this is the way I handled it in the past, just copied what was shown in the link, where do I get the "Playlist" from. As mentiond JDownloader mentions that this what I copied is a "Playlist".

2. As Jiaz tried to explain above - mixes are not supported by JD!
At this moment, JD is mistakenly detecting mixes as playlists and then fails.
The ticket which Jiaz linked is about fixing this and not even asking users whenever users try to download mixes.
You can not "convert" mixes to playlists!

My workaround suggestion if you want to download items of mixes:
Add the videos you want to a custom public playlist, then add this playlist to JD.

Hi developers,

I'm using many YT channels with cooking recipes. And I like to archive these with JDownloader.

In the Description there are in many cases important information - measurements, etc. . So I have to cut-and-paste this info by hand.

It would be very helpfull, if I could check-box in the plugin that I want to save the descriptive text beside of the video. Same name as the video, but with HTML oder TXT as extension.

JD already grabs the description as .txt file by default.
In case you have disabled this, see Settings -> Plugins -> YT -> Typ -> Enable "Description"
