Some videos have official subtitles but also additionally automatically generated subtitles (Speech2Text, ASR) in the same language. Example video: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Currently the crawler prefers automatically generated subtitles. But the official ones are better. How can I set it to prefer the official ones? Or better: How to just download ALL available subtitles? |

@SMS
Currently not possible. The current behavior can be considered as a bug. Ticket: -psp-

To complete this "workaround": If you want to additionally auto-filter the subtitles that now get added but you don't need, you can do it like THIS (yes I know, german instrctions --> Use Google Translate ![]() -psp-

I'm trying to download a playlist, but when I select for it to start, it just doesn't do anything. It's not loading, as I left it for an hour and a half and didn't get a single item in my LinkGrabber.
Playlist Link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

What error? What happens? Have you hit the start/play button?

no error. I click for it to process the playlist, and... nothing happens. Waited a couple of hours... still nothing, so I don't think it's loading...

I mean... I copy the URL, it comes up with this message, I click "Process Playlist" and it goes away, and nothing happens. I tried to do it every video individually, but the reason I want to do it with the playlist is cause there are quite a lot of videos

looks like more changes on site, playlist parser no longer works
Just for you to know, there is a crawling indicator icon in lower right corner, once that is done, then crawling is finished, no need to wait longer than that.

Good luck with that =)
Meaning: You won't succeed with anything >100 items with JD2 for a while for reasons explained above, even if the "playlist parser no longer works" issue (btw discovered/confirmed by myself today) gets momentarily fixed. Meanwhile, you can use 4k Video Downloader for that, because either a) their parser works differently or b) they already fixed the issue in 4.13.3.3870 of 21 Oct 2020. |

This is my worst nightmare. 4k video downloader is basically unusable for my purposes. To crawl one channel with a few hundred links, it has taken almost a day and still not finished, whereas jdownloader took just a short wait. yt-downloader also proved unreliable downloading only a few when I tried it. Maybe the new change affected it as well.
