Default Cannot add more than 100 entries from a youtube list

Hi all,

Previously, I remember adding a list from a youtube list, JD2 can add all entries of the list. Since a month or two, when trying again, it adds only upto 99 entries, then ignore all of the rest of the list. If we scroll to the entries after 100th then add manually 1 per 1 (select each time Video only), then JD2 still accepts and recognizes the right video from the list though.

Has anyone this problem? Is that a new intention/change from JD2 or something wrong on the system?

Thanks for any help.

@dvmoo: use search/check this thread. It's a known issue not yet fixed

Thanks Jiaz, I did search a few times but strange, I didn't find any of this, therefore I raise this question. But thanks, I search again

Hello, first-time poster here.

I've been using JD2 for more than a little while with no issues whatsoever and only downloaded YT vids once in a blue moon. I had my YT account credentials added to JD's account manager.

However -- a couple ago days, I tried to download a video (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**) with age restriction and got an error message:

Code:
Error - ASzOzrB-a9E JavaScript to Java failed  {args {raw player response window ytplayer bootstrapPlayerResponse}}

Even normal, non-age-gated videos yielded the same warning. I removed my (non-premium) YT account from the manager, and I regained the ability to list and DL non-restricted YT vids, though, most unsurprisingly, I do get the expected

Code:
Error - ASzOzrB-a9E Sign in to confirm your age

when I try again with the tricky video.

I tried BOTH of the cookie editor plugins mentioned in the tutorial (even made sure to have my other ad blocker plugins disabled at that moment), and though JD2's Account Manager says "Account is ok", I still can't DL anything that has an age barrier set by the uploader. It runs into some failure/error along the line.

I also tried reinstalling JD2, but no joy, either.

A cursory look at old threads indicates there has been trouble with this YT feature before, but using one's personal credentials could bypass it. Is the plugin busted for age-gated videos or is there something I can do on my side to get this out of the way?

Thanks in advance.

JD2's Account Manager says "Account is ok":
Thanks in advance.
I think JD2 can only verify login and password, but not age, which you have to set inside of your youtube account: I have seen such request of age on youtube app or page, it requests to enter ID card or something so, so I was lazy to process and skip those, but I think, youtube needs such information that you have to update your youtube account. Question: has that account been update with age information?

No input for you concerning Javascript error though, but my guess it is related to the issue above.

But do you need an account for normal video? A few months ago, I have seen JD2 requested youtube account too, but need to paste cookies, which, after the 1st time successful, a few weeks later it ask again, and I forget the steps, so I was lazy to redo it, I simply ... delete the youtube account in JD2. And I still can download youtube with JD2 though. So, unless you really need for age verification that you need to enter an account (with update as above), but for most regular clip, I think JD2 does not require an youtube account. That works for me.

Hope that helps...

If you remove the YT account and can get it work for normal clips -> the previous issue was related to the account.

If you still have that request of age confirmation -> are you sure that there is no age-restricted videos in the list you download? what happens if you open this link on web out of JD2?

@dvmoo: the playlist pagination is still broken and JDownloader does not *see* the next pages

Yeah, ages ago. Never had a problem with it until a week earlier or thereabouts.

Obviously I don't need to specify my account...that is, until I come across some age-restricted vid with mature content, which is what happened almost a week ago.

For the record, I'm not downloading playlists; I only clicked random videos to check the behavior and so far the BF2042 video is the only one I came across that had an age requirement.

And what happens when I copy-paste the URL on a browser where I'm not logged in on YT? Well, I get the black player screen and the invitation to log in.

-----------------

EDIT: figured it out. Turns out YouTube was set to my secondary brand account (which I mainly used for uploading gaming videos), not my main Google/YT account (which has my real name and was heretofore only used for casual browsing).

For some reason, brand accounts do not seem to share the main account's birth date, even under the hood...and the "Personal Info" tab of the Google Account page does not allow the user to specify his/her birthday for secondaries.

So I switched back to my main account, exported my cookie data and injected it into the account manager and I can see the BF2042 download again; no error message.

@TienVer: Yt recently changed age verification and those videos now require an account. In the past there was a *workaround* to still view those videos without an account but that one has been closed. I don't know if there are different level of age restrictions but it should work fine when you've added your account via cookie method.
I see reports that *older* accounts whereas *newer* ones might fail because Yt require sort of additional age verification, eg passport

Default YouTube videos can't be downloaded anymore. "Error - JavaScript to Java failed"

I'm having trouble downloading YouTube videos. It was working fine this afternoon(3 hours ago) .

Now whenever I add a YouTube link to linkgrabber, I get the following message.

"Error - JavaScript to Java failed"

{args {raw player response window.ytplayer.bootstrapPlayerResponse}}

This applies to all YouTube links that I've tried. I tried it on a different computer and got the same message.

Any help appreciate!

Default Youtube links notworking

Link grabber shows this as a filename: Error - o8fnWGKYjrs JavaScript to Java failed_ {args_{raw_player_response_window.ytplayer.bootstrapPlayerResponse}}

And links already on the list can't download.

Is this for everybody or is it just me?
