Yes i download _static Zeranoe FFmpeg build x64_ and tell JD the directory.
I then download a movie from putlocker -> unrestricturl.
During download the file is playable, working fine. After download the file is not playable.. only black screen in vlc

Note that downloading as file from putlocker via premiumize has nothing to do with either youtube or FFMPEG so why are you actually posting in this thread??

none of them. its for joining dash video(.mp4) + dash audio(.m4a) = one .mp4 file.

JDownloader2 keeps forgetting the path for ffmpeg.exe
From time to time (or every time it needs it maybe), it asks me the path to ffmpeg.
I tried with and without setting the "FFmpegSetup: Binary Path" in advanced settings and it acts the same.
How can I make it remember the path to ffmpeg.exe?

"Returns the best videos within your specified Resolution and Format selections above!" isn´t working for all videos. For HD-Videos: all available resolutions will be grabbed, anyway. It makes no difference if the box is checked or not. But it works for videos in smaller resolution.

Is this a known problem or did I do something wrong? Which boxes should be checked to get only the best avaliable video-resolution? I know, that better than 1080 isn´t possible, yet.

Is it possible to set JDownloader2 so that it will download only the best video from Vimeo, YouTube and DailyMotion?
For example, if I add to LinkGrabber the Big Buck Bunny movie on DailyMotion:

How can I set JDownloader2 to add only "Big Buck Bunny_H264-1280x720.mp4" to the list, or, better, to add them all but to disable the other files?
Or, when I add it to Downloads, to know that it only has to download the best resolution video.

It is not possible to grab all but to only start one but it is possible to always only grab the best resolution

Under Mac OS X, I select my ffmpeg and then ffmpeg setup window just comes back up after I click continue. I see mentions of ffmpeg.exe here. Is it validating on needing .exe when on the Mac it's just ffmpeg without the .exe?

I just installed the last binaries on my MAC.
Now I need to tell JD where the binaries are.

How do I find the path on my Mac where the FFMPEG binaries are located?

I disabled "Grab MP3", "Grab 3GS", "Grab FLV", "Grab WEBM", "Grab Subtitles", and that's a huge improvement !

However, in many cases, it is still grabbing more than one MP4 per link. Of course, I checked all resolutions: 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 520p, 720p, 1080p, and "Grab original" too. Some videos (the old ones) only have 144p and 240p. While the new videos have all resolutions, up to 1080p.
If I check only 1080p, then It won't grab anything for older videos.

For some videos, it works, grabbing only the best video, like for example
Anim prepa 2 - **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
But for others it doesn't work, grabbing 4 or more files, like for example this one:
A Fox Tale - **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Is it possible to make it work in all cases?
