not useless, those are the dash parts which get demuxed.
you have a problem with ffmpeg Code:
--ID:140TS:1415569369096-09/11/14 22.42.49 - [jd.controlling.downloadcontroller.SingleDownloadController(download)] -> Exception: --ID:140TS:1415569369096-09/11/14 22.42.49 - [] -> java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "/Applications/JD2/JDownloader.app/Contents/java/app/tools/mac/ffmpeg_10.6+/ffmpeg": error=86, Bad CPU type in executable at java.lang.ProcessBuilder.processException(ProcessBuilder.java:478) at java.lang.ProcessBuilder.start(ProcessBuilder.java:457) at org.jdownloader.controlling.ffmpeg.AbstractFFmpegBinary.runCommand(AbstractFFmpegBinary.java:225) at org.jdownloader.controlling.ffmpeg.FFmpeg.generateM4a(FFmpeg.java:97) at jd.plugins.hoster.YoutubeDashV2.handleDash(YoutubeDashV2.java:1328) at jd.plugins.hoster.YoutubeDashV2.handlePremium(YoutubeDashV2.java:1454) at jd.plugins.hoster.YoutubeDashV2.handleFree(YoutubeDashV2.java:1150) at jd.plugins.PluginForHost.handle(PluginForHost.java:817) at jd.controlling.downloadcontroller.SingleDownloadController.download(SingleDownloadController.java:378) at jd.controlling.downloadcontroller.SingleDownloadController.run(SingleDownloadController.java:508) Caused by: java.io.IOException: error=86, Bad CPU type in executable at java.lang.UNIXProcess.forkAndExec(Native Method) at java.lang.UNIXProcess.<init>(UNIXProcess.java:53) at java.lang.ProcessImpl.start(ProcessImpl.java:91) at java.lang.ProcessBuilder.start(ProcessBuilder.java:452) ... 8 more

The date tag guide for youtube plug and others is not helpful. It suggests I can name the filename something like *date[yyyy-MM-dd]*, one would also think it would work with *date[yyyy-mm-dd]* but it doesn't.
I would just like numeric date but I seem not to be able to make one. Last edited by JUser; 12.11.2014 at 17:38. |

The linkgrabber won't take links to download just the audio. I have everything checked in both "audio" drop downs in the "plugins"-settings and there are no active linkfilters. Even though there's that small symbol that shows up when JD2 is trying to find something, there are no reasults in the end. I've tried giving it both just a single video (without the "&list" part) or a complete playlist (both with https, http and without) but no results at all. :(
Also: As soon as that's finally working: Is it possible to download a complete playlist into a single mp3/m4a/aac file? Last edited by nephtys; 13.11.2014 at 03:21. |

can you take screen shots of your youtube plugin settings, settings > plugin > youtube @nephtys jd has plugin settings for youtube, so that you can define just audio, or combinations of audio, video, subs ,etc what are your settings atm? re: playlist into single file, no we wont be adding such feature.

@Farhad71
settings look wrong to me you only allow 1080 60ps and 1080p mp4, yet the variant checkbox below isn't selected for video. which effectively disables mp4 you also allow series of audio qualities but no variant checkbox for audio which effectively disables audio you have checkbox with 3D and no selections above (probably defaults to all when you uncheck them), So I assume the screen shot shows 3D videos , but customised filename has been stripped tag to "" when renaming components fail, so you are left with ().mp4. to me you should reset youtube settings and start again (next to the drop down for plugin name selection, their is a reset button). If the video names still fails it would be good idea to give me example link which causes it.

Fails to grab 4K-60fps Youtube videos since today. Latest build.
It all worked fine, I grabbed 4K-60fps videos two days ago. The program sees the resolution, but when I start downloading, it tells me outdated plugin. Video: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Edit: It now works. Last edited by Ladykilljoy; 14.11.2014 at 10:56. Reason: fixed |

I've been getting this error message when trying to download from YouTube since yesterday.
Downloads from other sources work fine. Resetting the download and updating ffmpeg did not help. |

Same thing for the "default variants: audio" dropdown. If I enable 720p videos in the first section, it grabs the videos just fine but it doesn't seem to work with just the audio. Quote:

Using JD for ages and wasn't messing with my YT setting before the problem occurred.
I think it started yesterday with one or two videos and today I'm unable to download anything from YT. Got this error message: ![]() Here you can see my current YT plugin settings: ![]() ![]() I changed slightly settings trying to fix the problem. I restarted JD, restarted entire PC, no luck. No major change on my OS while the problem occurred. This is Win7 Pro 64b Other plugins are ok - vimeo, http etc. Any advice? |
