Indeed lol.
I'll clear that chaos ... Thanks for the input! -psp- EDIT I've also restored the old functionality which grabbed the thumbnails along with the URLs ... I'm trying to exclude subtitles files from been added to the linkgrabber queue during the crawl.
This is not working as the subtitles are still been added. scratch that it's working now. Last edited by RPNet-user; 26.02.2020 at 13:23. |

you used 'is not', should be 'is' if you are creating a filter X (block) rule.

When filtering only subtitle files the linkgrabber filters video files as well.
I just tested several times and it adds 19 videos but when I 'restore' the filtered items it restores the other 7 video files. I tried it from 'Subtitle File' to srt and it does the same. If I disable the filter than all 26 video files show up in the linkgrabber. So apparently the filter will not work properly to show all video files unless I disable the filter for all. The 1st attachment is the 'view' and 2nd is the filter 'rule'. I'm not sure what the cause of this is but I created another separate filter rule and set a size range from 0b to 50mb and this is working properly. After reviewing the screens, it appears that the missing videos files from 7 of the 8 packages was from Nitroflare, strange that it left only one nitro-video file for one of the packages only, I retested several times with the same results to make sure it was not a one-timer, so this particular filter with this particular method affects nitroflare files. By the way enabling or disabling the custom view has no effect on this, I left it disabled for further test results: I tested by alternating between the no subtitle filter(filters out subs + 99% of the nitro video files) and the 0b-to-50mb(this one works properly by allowing all videos from all hosts and filtering out subs+images). Yes I know, that was just for a custom "view" the filter is correct and working but it is causing some videos to be filtered as well....see my other post.

Please add proper testlinks so that we can easily test this.

Here are new screens and their corresponding links from both packages on 2nd screenshot:

Hi,
Again just to make clear we both understood each other: You want to always filter-out all subtitle URLs by default? If so, you will only need EITHER a "Filter" rule or a "View" rule --> The "View" let's you enable/disable them easier. Also I was unable to reproduce this bug with a View. Please so not use both at the same time for the same purpose - it makes no sense, at least not at the moment as long as we're working on helping you. Now regarding your observations / bugreport: Indeed the "Filter" rule somehow also filters out two video-type URLs. I was able to reproduce this and I've created a ticket: I was unable to find a way around this bug so you will have to use the "View" and simply permanently leave it disabled. -psp-

Yes that is correct about the filter for subtitles and yes I'm 'only' using the 'filter' rule because the 'view' rule never provided the required results eg: exclude the subtitles from the linkgraber queue which was the problem I was having initially when I was trying to setup an exclusion for the subtitles, so yes I'm only using the 'filter' rule. I figured it was a bug so I had already disabled it and I created a different 'filter' rule to exclude file size 0b-50mb which is working fine for filtering the subs without excluding any of the video files. My 'view' rule must be broken because regardless of whether the 'File Type' is set to 'is' or 'is not', it will not exclude the subtitles from the linkgrabber queue, however the 'Filter' rule does exclude them.

Please do the following:
1. Disable- or delete all of your custom "Filter" entries 2. Switch to the "Views" tab, take a screenshot and post it here. 3. Open your current "Views" subtitle rule, take a screenshot and post it here. Works absolutely fine here and as said, you can disable a View in the linkgrabber (= all of its' URLs will be invisible) and this state will remain even throughout JDownloader restarts. This is how it looks like here: -psp-

Yes, but I was expecting/hoping that the 'view' filter would simply exclude them for me automatically from the queue the same method the 'filter' rule does without manual input, but I guess checking/unchecking the box is an ok alternative method as well.
Can the plugin be set to grab the artwork cover instead of the video-screen-capture? Last edited by RPNet-user; 26.02.2020 at 22:47. |

Well all of that seems fine.
It should not really be more work than the other way. Simply add a subtitle/picture once --> Uncheck the View in your linkgrabber --> All afterwards added subtitles will automatically be filtered ... or what do you mean? -psp- EDIT Screenshot:

It is one extra manual step compared to the 'filter' rule method which 'automatically' does it for me. It's ok, but when I initially tried to set this up via the 'view' filter, I was expecting the 'auto' and 'seamless' method like the 'filter'...also, when the custom view box is unchecked, all links will remain permanent unless the box is 'rechecked' and all the leftover filtered files removed manually, with filtered rule, this is not necessary.

But it is still a bit easier than you think: You can delete URLs which are "hidden" by an unchecked view simply by clearing the complete linkgrabber with one click - you do not have to check --> Remove links and --> Uncheck your view to remove those. This button clears everything currently inside the linkgrabber: You could even use a hotkey for that to save that one click Anyways - maybe it is only a small bug and Jiaz finds time to fix it within this/next week then you would not need that workaround anymore. -psp-

psp, thanks.
You mentioned earlier in this post that you restored an old plugin functionality to grab thumbnails, can the plugin be made to grab the thumbnails cover poster instead of the video-screencaps?, I was going to include these with my downloads because I thought they were the thumbnails for the video poster covers. I re-enabled your script to export the linkgrabber list that I used last year, however, when I click 'test run' it does nothing, there is already a text file in that path from last year so the directory structure is intact 'P:\JDownloader 2.0\auto\export' I currently have three packages with links in the linkgrabber queue that I'm testing this with: Code:
//Add your script here. Feel free to use the available api properties and methods // Export download URLs // Trigger : "Linkgrabber Contextmenu Button Pressed" if (name == "Export URLs") { var exportFolder = JD_HOME + "/auto/export/"; // <- Folder for exporting the text files var now = new Date().toString().substring(4, 24).replace(/:/g, "."); // <- Timestamp used in file name var exportFile = now + " - LG Selection.txt"; // <- Filename for exporting the URLs var links = lgSelection.getLinks(); var urls = []; for (i = 0; i < links.length; i++) { var link = links[i]; var fileName = link.getName(); var downloadURL = link.getContentURL(); urls.push(downloadURL + "," + fileName); } if (!getPath(exportFolder).exists()) getPath(exportFolder).mkdirs(); writeFile(exportFolder + exportFile, urls.join("\r\n"), true); } Last edited by RPNet-user; 27.02.2020 at 10:25. |

Context menu command scripts which query 'selected links' cannot be executed by clicking the 'test run' button. It can only be run by clicking the corresponding 'custom' eventscripter trigger button with the matching 'name' in the context menu.
Do you want to export only the selected links or all links from the list? If it is the latter I can provide a different script which can be executed by clicking test run or a custom toobar button. |
