I currently have premium accounts with both Rapidgator and Uploaded.

I cannot obtain download speeds of more than 1MB/s from either host or more than a total of 1.5MB/s simultaneously from both. This applies to downloads within JDownloader and directly from the browser.

If it also happens within your browser, changes are high that your ISP limits/throttles per connection speed. Did you try to uninstall Avast?
What is your connection speed?
Does different number of *max connections/chunks* make a difference in speed?
You have to rightclick reset the file in order to use new number of connections.
