Default Download incomplete on Premium Account

My JD is updated,
Max Con=1,
Max Dls = 4,
Speed = 750
I have a premium acount with Filesonic
I had a premium account with fileserver

About 2/3 of all my downloads stop with the error download incomplete. I get that icon with a red mark on it. I have to resume the downloads manually. After a few resumes I get the file but during the long periods when I'm not at my computer, my downloading comes to a stop even though I have dozens of big files on my list.

This happened with Fileserver premium too so it's not a host plugin issue. I believe what is happening is the max number of re-connects is being reached and JD is stopping that download and marking it 'download incomplete'. How do I raise the Max re-connects for files?

Provide logs please, it's the best way for us to determine what's wrong http://jdownloader.org/knowledge/wik...reate-a-jd-log. I'd say something is messing with your connection 'antivirus/firewall/malware/live http scanning'. Your described results/action is common problem under those circumstances. Make sure you setup your software correctly to allow java.exe and javaw.exe and even jdownloader.exe exemptions in the required areas. If you can't configure exemption for live http scanning turn it off.

I'm not using a Firewall or AV. I use a Sandboxie to surf the internet, get Email and test programs.

JDownloader is not running in the Sandboxie so I don't think the sandboxie is an issue.

Are you running any other software that can interfere with your downloads?

Also BitTorrent clients can 'consume' many connections.

Can you download the files with your browser?

Yes, am running uTorrent - I'll shut it off a few days to see if that changes anything.

Yes, I can download the files using my browser - both Crome and Firefox.

Update:

I turned off my uTorrent for a day but JD still didn't complete the downloads.

I'm still getting Download Incomplete files.

New update:

no settings have changed. Since Jiaz said the problem had to do with my router, I thought there was no solution for 'download incomplete'.

Recently I got several hundred links for Mediafire. I have no premium Mediafire account. Every once in a while I have to do a captcha but otherwise, all files are downloading perfectly. Not a single Mediafire link has turned into 'file incomplete' while 50% of my filesonic premium account files are still becoming 'file incomplete'.

Hear are rough stats:
100% mediafire download successful (no incomplete)
50% filesonic download successful (no incomplete)
20% filesonic download successful after one resume( 1 incomplete)
10% filesonic download successful after two resumes(2 incomplete)
20% filesonic download successful after more than 3 resumes(multi incomplete)

The most resumes I had to manually set was a record 6 times.

I think this clearly shows that the filesonic plugin has an issue Since Mediafire works fine.

Anyway, why not allow manual settings of Max reconnects on next version?

If it would be your router then downloading with your browser would also fail in 50% of the cases.

If the router is suspected, replacing it temporarily with another one could confirm that it's the cause. Also your ISP might be able to help you there.

jD uses FSc's download API and that might be the reason why it's unstable. MF is a much bigger host than FSc. It's no surprise they have more reliable servers. I would do further tests with smaller hosts as your data isn't very statistically relevant.

Are you running any Ad Blocker software?

Do you have a slow Internet connection (less than 100KB/s or 1Mb/s)?

Doesn't matter, at least if he is using JD as JD is 100% without ads
Also the server errors cannot come from the plugin because once a download is started, the plugin has nearly no influence on the downloadprogress!

There are several reports about Ad Muncher and Adblock Plus blocking jD on this board.

Adblpock Plus is a Firefox addon.
It blocks Elements in Firefox.
remi sometimes i have the thought that you still didn't understand that JDownloader has it's own browser with it's own cookies, it's own connections and it's own bugs^^

If you don't believe me I'll search these reports for you, but you can also use the board's search function or Scroogle.

Never had any problems with Chrome or firefox. 100% perfect downloads with these browsers every time.

I think you have something here.

No software and fast connection

Second update:
I got a bunch of Megaupload links to test. Megaupload works fine. 100% complete on every file.

It's something specific to Filesonic and Fileserver.

I wouldn't extend your fileserve account in your situation or use another tool for downloading because many other jD customers are experiencing problems with the validation process of their FSe premium accounts. FSe's API isn't working properly and the guy who's running the host doesn't care at all.

Please do NOT use this thread for fileserve stuff.

Why do you upload a log which has no error and startup hasn't finished?
