Clear download history
Hi,
I d like to be able to clear automatically with an external software the history of what I ve downloaded ("clear from list") and clear also all traces (except the file I ve downloaded). What files or file contents should I delete ? Thanks for help |

You can only do that manually, by deleting the links in your download queue.
If you would delete the database file (in your jD/config folder) with the links, you would also remove your configuration settings for jD. |

Can I for instance remove the line starting with
INSERT INTO LINKS VALUES('links' in database.script ? |

It's a relational database. The relations contain serialised java objects.
If you know what you're doing, you can give it a try. First make a backup and don't complain if it doesn't work. |

Well, I tried with no luck.
Then, I won t be able to erase Jdownload traces in the software I m working on. The other downloaders are already included...:outch: |

It is not a problem to delete history automatically.
Just make a fresh install of JD. After the configuration steps but before adding any link you backup whole installation directory. Wishing to delete history, you just delete installation directory and recopy it from your backup. |
