Exclamation RULES: Suggestions & Requests

1. Host and Decrypter plugin requests

Please assure first that your requested plugin does not already exist as requests and bugreports of existing plugins go into different subforums.

After having assured this, post the complete address of the requested Host/Decrypter in the thread.
Furthermore, example links are needed, please post at least 20 example links so potential limitations might be found out.
Please post all of the different kinds of links available and try to get a variety of links.
Different types of links may include for example:
- Online/offline
- Folder items containing more files and/or subfolders
- Links to single file downloads
- Password protected files/folders
- Short-URLs
- Big files/small files
If the website you want a plugin for has multiple domains, please include all of them in your request!

Example
Title: Host plugin for HostXYZ.com
"Your text"
Link to the website: **External links are only visible to Support Staff**www.HostXYZ.com or **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Example links:
Spoiler:
Link 1
Link 2
Link 3
...

Additionally, if you want to have premium services supported please send premium login data (user:password) with a link to your forum thread to support@jdownloader.org.
All premium account(s) received will be only used for development purposes.

2. Other requests

Before creating a new thread, pay attention to the following tips:

- study the JDownloader: have a look at all the settings and addons
- employ the search to find out whether there is already your request (see [FONT=Verdana]Searching JDownloader.org)
- if you have found a thread with the prefix see Bugtracker or if your own wish has been admitted to the Bugtracker, then don't ask again at which date an update will be released. If that thread is old, you can ask inside that existing thread.
- if you have found a thread without a prefix or an answer of a Supporter, then post into this forum.

Please describe in detail how you imagine the realisation of your wish, which purpose it has and for which/how many users it would be useful. Also, think about whether your idea should be for only a part of JDownloader or can be useful as a general feature.

3. Other

Bumping your thread is not allowed, unless you think it has been overlooked, which may happen even to us from time to time. Please wait at least 3 days before bumping your thread.

Threads which are older than 2-3 weeks and inactive or in which the topic creator doesn't provide a Log and other relevant information may be closed or deleted.

Multiple posts are not allowed!
Use the Edit button! Unless you have important news after several days without an answer. Never post the same question in multiple threads!

It may happen that your posts become identified as spam by our anti spam bot, so they will have to be unlocked first. You will not be able to see the post/thread.
In this case and in case of any other problem, you may send a PM to our moderators.

4. Thread-Tags

Solved[COLOR=black]: Means that a problem has been solved, the bug fixed in the source code or the topic clarified.
Repaired or new Host and Decrypter plugins will be integrated into JDownloader with the next normal plugin update.
All other fulfilled requests will only be integrated into JDownloader with a CORE-update.

In progress: Means that a topic is under supervision of Supporters or users.
In the case of Bugreports, more information is needed from the topic creator or from other users to localize/fix the problem.
The bug will be added to the Bugtracker only after all of the required information has been provided.

See Bugtracker: Means that the bug or request has been added to the Bugtracker, in which everybody may observe its further development.
Once the bug/request has been fixed/implemented, the corresponding thread will be tagged with solved.
But there is still the possibility of declining tickets at a later date. In this case, the reason will be explained in the ticket, noted in the corresponding thread, and tagged with unsolvable.

Unsolvable: Means that a problem can't be solved or that we won't implement a request. Concerning bugs, this happens extremely seldom, for example when a Java specific problem is faced for which we won't be able to find a workaround.
Furthermore, unsolvable will be employed for unqualified and unfounded criticism or insulting messages.

We are currently working to improve the thread tags.
