Hi,
I have followed all the instructions, but dbc does not work on JDownloader 2 x64. I: 1. Added my username/password to the dbc.xml. I ran the batch to make sure it worked, and it did. 2. Changed jacinfo.win.xml to jacinfo.xml. I also updated the servers to the ones I wanted to use. 3. Put the dbc folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\JDownloader 2\jd\captcha\methods\dbc. Despite everything being set up right, all that happens is in the download screen, it will say "Waiting For User Input", but it will never start downloading. I have 5000 credits on DeathByCaptcha, so that's not the problem either. Any ideas what might be wrong?? Last edited by The_Goz; 09.10.2012 at 07:19. |

if you open the dbc.xml file in a simple text editor like Notepad, you will see this: Quote:
1. Delete the middle "username" (which I marked bold above) and add YOUR DeathByCaptcha username instead of "username". 2. Delete the middle "password" (which I marked bold above) and add YOUR DeathByCaptcha password instead of "password". After this the file must look like this: Quote:

I cannot understand how it works.
I have donloaded the file dbc.zip Extract it and copied the dbc folder in: C:\JDownloader\jd\captcha\methods\ I have then edited the dbc.xml file and inserted the username and the password as suggested from JDC above (Thanks). Saved the file, closed and re opened Jdownloader. Asked to download the file but still get to insert the captcha words manually. How to do to insert the Captcha words in automatically? Thanks |

Hey,
DBC is working fine, but solving captchas from turbobit.net (it does not work). I put it in jacinfo, but i still have to solve it on my own. Turbobit has no Re-Captchas, just usual ones. Any ideas? Beggo Last edited by beggo; 14.10.2012 at 09:14. |

Add the following entries: "recaptcha" and "turbobit.net.basic".

Solving Turbobit whith DBC worked very fine until yesterday. I have nothing changed at my system. Now the same old problems again. I have to solve the captchas by my own.
What happened? Any suggestions? Beggo Last edited by beggo; 20.10.2012 at 08:51. |

So you've added "turbobit.net.basic", "turbobit.net", "recaptcha" and "turbobit.net.disabled" to your jacinfo.xml?

Yes, all 4 entries. And deleted all other methods, as I told you. Believe me, its strange ... it worked for a couple of days, but till yesterday turbobit is "broken" .... other hosts are still working fine ...

Awesome plugin! Everyone, but be sure to UNCHECK "Disable automatic captcha' option under "Settings => Anti-captcha' or the plugin would fail to work (in my case I had checked that box). I know it was quite frustrating for me, so posted it here so others might find it helpful (hopefully the OP would add this bit part in to the original post).
Have not tested turbobit yet; just depositfiles! |

I had the problem that the plugin would stall during the login procedure. It turned out there were a bunch of
Code:
/usr/bin/java -jar ./dbc.jar and Code:
/bin/bash -xv /Applications/JDownloader.app/Contents/Resources/app/jd/captcha/methods/dbc/dbc.mac.sh processes flying around in memory. Update 1: After killing the processes the problem still persisted so I decided to check the network traffic. Code:
ngrep -d en1 -W byline Which showed me several login commands. Code:
{"cmd":"login","username":"my_username","password":"my_password","version":"DBC/Java v4.1.0"}. It looks like the plugin is actually trying to login, but after a certain timeout fails and retries. In one case the plugin needed 15 tries to successfully login. I didn't stop the time, but it was certainly way more than the current average solving time which was displayed on the dbc admin console. Update 2: Okay, there seem to be two different problems. The first one is described above and can be solved by simply waiting for the login retries to be successful. In the other case the plugin doesn't emit any network requests at all and seems to caught in an infinite loop spiking the cpu up to 90% and eventually getting the fans running. If I kill the stuck process then JDownloader starts another try. Often it gets stuck again several times. After maybe a half a dozen tries the plugin eventually logs in and solves the captcha. Update 3: As a quick workaround I wrapped the java call in a timeout. So my dbc.mac.sh looks like this now (requires GNU coreutils): Code:
#!/bin/bash -xv /usr/local/bin/gtimeout 20 java -jar ./dbc.jar This automatically kills the java process after 20 seconds, so if it gets stuck then it won't stall the download process. Last edited by guybrushthreepwood; 24.10.2012 at 01:39. |

Plugin does not work with filefactory captcha for the moment.
This is the dl link: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** The log is below (note that deathbycaptcha service itself does not report any error, so it must be the plugin or the hoster itself):

I have follwed all the tips, but it still refuses to work. What it says now is "Captcha recognition" under "status" for about 15 seconds, then that message will go away and there will be a countdown, then it will say "captcah recognition" again.
The download will never start, it just keeps looping like this until it finally times out and says "Fatal Error". What am I doing wrong? |

Well then you either have no credits or the captcha isn't solved or the plugin for the host you're downloading from is somehow broken!

Yep or it was solved wrong, you've to check that because it's definitly not a JD issue!

|
#118

I can't confirm anything because i'm not using it but in general it should work for all captchas.
The question is just wether someone else is solving those captchas and wether they come back to you (correctly). GreeZ pspzockerscene

Hm, ok. One last question: From my symptoms, does it sound like I at least have it configured correctly, it's just a human error on part of DBC?

Sounds like it's configured correctly and the error is on DBCs side!
